Every time I hear this I just think oh god not another one as the BBC news once again, without fail, claims that this time shits going to hit the fan.
Tl:dr At the bottom.
I am of course talking about their reports on weather and how we are all going to die.(I know that's a bit melodramatic but hey, they started it.)
According to this, the police are telling people to stay indoors unless it's an emergency.
They also report that "In north-east England, 35cm (14in) fell overnight."
And that "Scotland could get a further 15cm (6in) on Saturday, with more also likely in other areas, especially Northern Ireland and south-east England."
They then go on to talk about some airports closing and how this is the "Earliest widespread snowfall for 17 years and forecasters say it could last for two weeks."
Now I am not surprised by this at all, it happens every year, and I don't know why the BBC news keeps on reporting the snowfall this way every year.
Then they talk about treacherous conditions balh blah blah... It's as if they're an old woman telling a child not to go out or Jack frost will get you.
Tl:dr Are you tired of them reporting it this way? And do you think that people still believe them after all these years? Also to our American brothers how does the news report snowfall over there?
