First of all, I'm in the North East of England, in Leeds, and we certainly did not get 35cm of snow overnight. I went to the cinema to see Unstoppable, at a 11pm late showing, and when I left I took my bike because I was in a rush. There was no snow then. When I left the cinema it had been snowing, and the snow was probably about 5cm thick, at the very maximum. Still enough to make me push my bike home (there's no way in hell I'm riding up the big hill by me in snowy weather), but not enough to be anywhere near the BBC's stupid predictions and reports. And I usually trust the BBC for news. But yeah, the snow had already stopped anyway and it didn't snow again at all last night. Not sure if it's snowed during the day though, as I've been asleep during most of the day
