OT: Thankfully, I don't have any 'gender-role' problems that actually matter. I work in a very tolerant and laid back environment where the best cook is a guy, the one who swears most is a girl and no-one cares about either of those two facts.

Gender roles also annoy the crap out of me. Pansexual Female. The only thing that annoys me about being a female is having breasts... Gah! I hate them so much.

The fact that guys have to do all the work when trying to attract girls. A lot of girls don't even bother to put in any effort, they just wait for you to come to them. (Apologies to any girls out there if you consider this a generalisation)

Having thought about this subject quite a lot, I now think that a part of the reason I was confused about my sexuality towards my late-teen years (I thought I might be bisexual) was because I just didn't identify with what everyone defines as a "man". I'm a fairly shy, intellectual person who's pretty terrible at sports and don't follow them on TV, I listen almost exclusively to classical music and am currently studying music history and theory, etc. I got along with all the other men, but I didn't relate to a lot of them. Parts of my demeanour could be called a bit effeminate. I'll favor discussion over action a lot of the time. The list goes on.

Bisexual male here: I have no problems relating to my gender/sex. Only issue as a male (I would probably still get this as a female) is in winter I get dry skin in "areas" and it chaffs making it very uncomfortable.

Seriously that's the only issue I have with being male, and I bet it's not as bad as the once a month weekly bleeding chicks get with the amount of bitching I've heard about it.

lucky scotland doesnt have that problem. we ENCOURAGE our men to wear fancy skirts with matching purses! oh and knives in our socks... which are legal...

The stereotypes that come with being a gay male, its so annoying when someone is shocked that I like playing sport, hate shopping, have no fashion sense, don't have a high toned voice, am not promiscuous and I don't go to clubs. Honestly some people need to stop watching TV and movies, it's messing with their views on reality.

Edit: Oh and that one time I met a friends uni mate who expressed utter confusion at the fact that I'm gay and play all kinds of FPS's (and dominate at COD). Because the only game I can like is Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

My main problem with it is childbirth and periods. Mostly the former. It's going to hurt...

Other than that, obviously women have flaws but I wouldn't want to be a different gender.
