Exactly. Any steps taken towards equality will always be said to be monstrously unfair by those currently benefitting from the inequality.

For a Woman its not hard to get lots of sex, even if shes ugly there will still be guys that want to do her, always without any exception. For a Dude its way harder. Therfore a dude that has sex ofthen is considered a hero, and a Woman is a whore.

This is also a good point. If you want men to chase, they'll feel good about a higher than normal level of success...but if you're a pack of zebra and just one zebra decides to hang out with the lions for whatever reasons then we should "hazard a guess" that the other zebras don't think much of her and the lions while preferring some of the meatier ones that ran away will most likely chomp on her for now and hope for better luck in the future.


It's not like men actually LIKE having to work for sex, we'd love for women to keep pestering us for it and we'd abolish all terms like "slut" or "whore" in an instant were that to be a new reality, hell, we'd make them outright illegal...I mean...free sex...woot!

Historically, it has been women(in western civilization) that have held the reins in terms of sexuality. Proof of this is the fact that it's a crime to rape a woman, but a woman "raping" a man is almost entirely unheard of. This shows that western society has placed the burden of responsibility on the women to make the proper decisions as to who, where, and when in terms of sex. Biologically, this is a fantastic choice as women have the most to win and lose in terms of their mate choices.

Unfortunately, since the sexual revolution of the 70s, women have thrown off their responsibilities. It has now become the duty of men to say no instead of women. It's a shift in sexual roles that is not biologically based, so it cannot last. Expect to see many more fatherless children.

I'm not sure what you mean by "women have held the reins in terms of sexuality", but men have nearly always been the dominant force until around the start of the last century. That's why marriage was originally a business deal, for the husband to gain children & the father to gain money. Also a woman had much more to lose back then, due to poor birth control/medical care.

This shift is biologically based. We live in a world of plenty, where there are many opportunities for children. Not having a father isn't going to kill your kids from starvation/stray saber-tooth tigers, so not having a father is a viable strategy, especially if the relationship isn't working.

People sure are really using the phrase 'hazard a guess' a lot in this thread.

Any discussion about "sexual politics" can be hazardous. One wrong word and you're labeled as sexist, misogynistic, a feminazi, a chauvinist, etc.

There is a little bit of a double standard, as shown in another thread using humor between the sexes pointed out.

If a man gets hit in the balls and a woman laughs, it's okay because it was kind of funny, but if a woman gets hit in the crotch or breasts and a man laughs? He'll be laughing alone and probably get a lot of backlash for being insensitive and crude.

A man who rubs up against a woman and grab her breasts is seen as a pervert even though sleeping with many women makes him some kind of idol. A woman who rubs up against a man and grabs his junk is seen as sexy, even if sleeping with many men makes her a slut.

Maybe it's just an exaggeration of the primitive mind handling the traditional roles of the genders. Or it could be some social revolution making a shift to the opposite direction or what's been perceived as acceptable and normal for so many generations. "Boys will be boys" is no longer an excuse for them to do whatever they want, while women are now being encouraged to do just that.

Not you. How men are treated these days. It -used- to be all very much 'women's rights' now women have their rights - and more! Us men get mistreated terribly! I've heard in the UK, a man can't even sit next to a child that's not his - but a women can! In over 90% of the cases of couples with children that split up, the mother will get the child - tell me that's not bias!
I could go on! It's terribly bias these days. Then again every time a women tries to play the 'ugh you're a pervert because you're a man!' card I'm just quite honest and explain I much prefer men anyway so she can stop complimenting herself!

Still. Staying on topic as possible, people do need to learn to 'practice what they preach' so to speak and stop completely ignoring such obvious contradictions in what they say and what they do.

Babies are emotionally attached to the mother from birth, so it makes sense that the mother is more likely to get the child. The part that bugs me is when women assault men in the name of "self defense" when the man is just asking for directions

I have little doubt about women enjoying sex as much as men do. However, it would seem that they don't want sex as much as men do. Of course, I'm speaking generally and from personal experience. You and others may have seen differently.

I have little doubt about women enjoying sex as much as men do. However, it would seem that they don't want sex as much as men do. Of course, I'm speaking generally and from personal experience. You and others may have seen differently.

Honestly I have never met a woman who has actually been able to withhold sex from their partner. And no I do not mean that the partner forces sex on her, I mean that she just can't go without it.

But then again I suppose that's only if you can actually please your woman.....BURN!
