Oh sigh, the answer is easy. Online isn't worth considering because anyone who buys a console based on it's online ability is making the wrong choice as they should have bought a PC to start with. The online aspect is a secondary issue when it comes to console choice as are blu ray, media capability, PSN, Live and all the other crap people use to justify their choice. Even graphics are a moot point because a real person in the real world wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 360 graphics and PS3 graphics and the only people who care are fanboy morons who have no other course to go when it comes to bashing the opposition.
So what does that leave? Well games. You buy a console to play games so weather you buy an XBox or a PS3 comes down to what games you want to play on it. Since 90% of major titles will get a multi format release the biggest decider is which exclusive games are the ones you want to play. Which ever console has the most is the one you get.
Saying that you would have to be mental to trade a PS3 in to get an XBox now, you would be better off holding on to the PS3 and then getting a cheap 360 that way you get the best of both worlds and don't have to compromise.
