Shaving Down Below (Male and Female)

I trim, because I get a skin rash if I don't. I guess my hair is just really thick and keeps the irritation in. It's also a lot more comfortable.

Full on shave, I have not been tempted to try.

In my personal experience, shaving just leads to discomfort and itching more than anything else. However, I do not wish to appear like I have Chewbacca down my pants, so trimming it shall be. So far, it's been a happy balance.

I mainly shave the shaft for visual purposes. It just looks better that way. I'll give my balls a once-over every so often just for the sake of it. As for my girlfriend, I don't mind what's on top. So long as the point of entry is clean and nice to be around I'm a happy camper.

I keep myself trimmed and tidy when I'm in a relationship, otherwise I don't really bother. I've tried shaving before, you have to keep it up constantly otherwise it itches like nothing else and and that wasn't something I really wanted to deal with.

OT: Well i tend to be "fair" about these things, i like a woman who is trimmed up, doesn't have to be shaved, and so i do the same, tend to trim it down every few weeks. First time it itched like hell, but now it feels great and I enjoy the breeze ^_^

by all that is holy does it hurt when you nick down there though, any males who are reading, you've been warned.

Nah, I just let mine go wild...so I guess I can only date Europeans who enjoy that kind of thing. I would never date a guy who shaved. I am a great believer in natural beauty and I would prefer a find a man who does not judge me against the plastic waxed airbrushed models you get in porn movies....why do porn stars get the same touch ups as a sports car these days, madness.

not gonna lie, the price is really steep. but considered how much you save on razor blades or whatever other method you use, in the long run it pays for itself. it's just a rather large chunk of money all at once.

also, did it burn/itch like a mofo? I bloody hate itchiness in the fun zone.

I don't shave/wax/epilate/nuke my ladyparts except to keep everything neat and tidy. I don't want to look like a grizzly bear down there after all, so it's usually a quick trim instead. I don't really mind seeing other ladyparts that are hairless or hairy but I do actively dislike out of control pubes. I consider it part of your appearance and whilst the vast majority of people aren't going to get a glimpse down there, you should still take some time to keep things in order. I imagine other women find men with scruffy, unkempt facial hair to be unattractive. Muff is like a woman's beard to me I guess.

I doubt I would go totally hairless down there, I don't consider pornstars or nude models to be personal style icons of mine. Plus it seems ridiculous to go to all that trouble, expense and pain (in the case of waxing).

Do it all the time. I guess it itched the first couple of times, can't really remember. Now it drives me crazy if I don't.

Obviously the same rules apply as they do to your face: do not shave against the grain, whatever you fucking do.

I shave down there semi regularly as it feels more comfortable and cleaner than letting it go wild. As to how I shave... very fucking carefully I tell you.

I would but I only have one razor and I don't feel like buying another razor... Also, y'know, I don't really see the point. If I were in a relationship then I would cuz... IDK, I don't imagine hair there would be hugely pleasant for my lady friend. I'd never expect a gal to shave though, I can dig it...

it can take just a single session, or a few, but mostly just a handful. the effectivenes largely depends on the colour and structure of your hair. also depends how much you do. you can easily do intimate areas and armpits in one sessin, i had the whole body done (exept headhair, obviously) so it took a bit longer.
the process and the aftermath aren't unbearably painful, but unpleasant. it does hurt a bit, it's comparable to a pretty solid sunburn. but a few days of pain are a small price to pay for a permanent state of being freshly perfectly shaved, i think.

Not really related to crotch, but I shave my armpits, mainly because I find my armpit hair gets in the way of my antiperspirant/deodorant and it doesn't work.

When I was in my Recruit training for the Royals I decided to shave a few days before a "SURPRISE" big run. Man oh man was that a bad decision. 8 miles. Itched the whole way. I shudder just remembering.
