Isoroku frowned and looked down at his notes. It was indeed apparent how sparse they were. The sooner he could stop trying to learn the old-fashioned way, the better.

"Yeah, she'll let you copy hers-- she's a pushover. I wouldn't mind seeing yours when you're done. You're right that I don't usually bother much, but I guess it never hurts, right?"

Kojiro nodded to Isoroku again, he stood up and made his way over to Rin. 'Ok, lets try this again!'

"Hi there, Junsui. You alright?" He smiled. Maybe if he tried a more subtle approach she wouldn't snap at him again.

Rin glanced up at the sound of her name. "Oh, Hi Ishikawa. I um guess I'm ok, thank you for asking." She glanced nervously at him again. "Um is Moir always like that?"

Kojiro nodded, "Yeah...he's always an asshole." He stuffed his hands in his pockets, "But you'll be fine. You're smart, and wealthy. He prefers those types begin here over anyone else." He scratched the back of his head.

"Umn, this is going to seem awkward... but, uh, may I borrow your notes from this morning? Mine are kind missing half...my mind was other things..." He mustered up an awkward smile. 'Oh god, I hope Isoroku was right about her being a push over...'

Rin nodded."Oh, sure you can borrow them." She passed him her notebook. She noticed he seemed to be a bit off. She glanced at her desk again, before somewhat meeting his eyes. "Um, are you alright?"

Kojiro nearly snatched the notebook, happy Isoroku was right. He nearly started to walk away when he heard Junsui speak again.

"Huh?...Really? You want to know if I'm ok?" he scratched his head, "I guess I am...I mean Mori hates me, not much I can do about that..." He lowered his hands and considered Rin for a moment. She didn't really seemed like she liked people, or liked being here period. He looked over at Isoroku, who also seemed to harbor the same resentment towards this school and its upper crust attitude.

"Anyway, thanks for the notes, Junsui. I'll return them in a second." He waved to her and went back to his seat next to Isoroku.

"So, I think Junsui has a split personality or something... she asked me how I was. Crazy." He opened the note book and started to write down everything he was missing. "But she's defiantly better than Mizushima - BLECH! Any girl is all right in my book after spending the night dealing with her!"

Isoroku leaned over to glance at the notes.

"You know, I think she even made eye contact with you there, for a second. From that girl, eye contact is as good as a marriage proposal. Too bad about her being insane."

He considered.

"I think you shouldn't be so critical of Mizushima. It's always possible that deep down, she's actually a wonderful, intelligent, vulnerabl--" the sentence sputtered off as be began laughing. "No, I'm sorry, I can't even finish that."

Rin watched Ishikawa walk away, and considered the past few minutes. She still felt worried about what Moir had said. But Ishikawa seemed kinda nice despite whatever fight he'd had with that girl Mizushima. She gave a small sigh and rested her head on her desk. She decided to rest until Ishikawa came back with her notes, and consider how to improve her people skills.

Kojiro chuckled, "Good because if you did I was gonna hit you in the head with my notebook." He laughed along with Isoroku as he finished the notes. "Maybe that Junsui girls just misses her old school. I know I didn't talk to too many people my first year here. All of my middle school friends went to other schools... I'm sure she'll get less crazy... .... Or she'll snap and kill us all." He looked up and smiled, "But hey! You and I talked to her at least, I think that puts us on the 'Do Not Shoot' list."

Isoroku laughed, producing a half-liter of water from his bag and taking a drink.
"Oooo, how comforting. She might still shoot me, but maybe, like, non-fatally. On the plus side, that'd probably put us at #1 and #2 in the grade rankings by default, right? Well, assuming she does herself when she's done with the others. Otherwise, still, top three is pretty good!"

"You know you two could be a bit more quiet back there." Kumiko turned in her seat to face them. "Because the more and more you talk bad about me, the more I start to think expulsion isn't so bad. At least then I can shove my 'wonderful, intelligent, vulnerable' foot up Ishikawa's ass. How's that? Maybe I can teach you how to unclench." she gave a curt smile and faced forwards once more.

Kojiro's eye twitched, partly in annoyance, partly in fear. He turned his had to look at Kumiko, why was that chick so fucking scary!

"Look, I can't help it if you're as shallow as an ants swimming pool." He turned fully around in his seat, "And I meant what I said, Junsui is much more appeasing than you'll ever be!" Kojiro pointed to the meek girl in the back of that class, "As far as I'm concerned, not matter what Mori implied about her looks, Junsui is far more attractive and likable as a person than you'll ever be! At least she's honest! Your whole persona is one big act!"

"Oh now that's a load of BS!" as her voice rose she stood and began to wonder if verbal fights would land her in the same Takuya situation again. "I am honest! I told you you're an asshole and I meant it from the depths of my being!" she briskly stomped her way to Ishikawa's desk. "So go ahead and think that I am two-faced or whatever. Think that I am dishonest and horrible. But if you and your buddy are going to be dicks to me at least have the decency to do it when it's just you two or even just to me. I'd appreciate it if you didn't participate in the dick Olympics in class!"

Isoroku drew back and straighted up.

Shit.

As much as he loathed Mizushima, making her an enemy had never been part of the plan. She was popular, after all, and it would not do to have the popular students against him. He supposed that this was what he got for allowing himself to socialize, but he was still feeling good, and it was hard to judge himself too severely.

He considered trying to diffuse the situation, but a lie wouldn't do at this point; they'd been caught red-handed. That said, he opted to stay quiet and simply watch the growing altercation. He kept one eye on Rin, curious to see how she'd react.

Yamada stood straight up out of his seat and approached, trying to maintain a neutral expression. His voice isn't loud, but very stern. "Isn't this precisely what got the both of you into this situation in the first place?"

He turned first to Mizushima. "Mizushima-San, I understand that Ishikawa-San started it this time. Those remarks from both he, and Yoshida-San were unacceptable and demeaning, but taking their bait is just as bad. Ishikawa, I understand that for you it must have been terribly embarrassing to be beaten by another student this morning and then have it brought to the attention of the class, but rehashing the business is no reason to get over it. And Yoshida-San, I'm not sure why you're involved in this, but I'm sure it'd be better for your reputation and standing in this school not to be. We don't want another incident as the one this morning, or any destruction to school property. Weren't you all bothered by Mori-Sempai's sensitivity on the matter? I, for one, am not looking forward to a repeat performance and would prefer we all act civilized. Is that not acceptable?"

He'd never said so much to other students at one time and hoped he hadn't gone to far, but for once had not considered the consequences before trying to solve the matter at hand. He was worried for both Mizushima and Ishikawa and didn't want them to make matters worse. He turned to Junsui last. "And Junsui-San. I'm very sorry you were dragged into this."

Rin glanced up at the sound of yelling in time to see Ishikawa point at her. She felt her face go red as she heard Ishikawa mention her name so loudly. She glanced towards Mizushima as she stood and started chewing Ishikawa out. She wondered what exactly it was that happened between them. She decided to stay out of it, but still keep a watch on the situation to see how it turned out. Rin felt her face get even redder after Yukimura berated both Ishikawa and Mizushima and turned to address her. "That's alright, um it's ok so you don't need to worry. But thank you."

Kumiko whipped around, ready to spit fire at Yamada for even butting in, but fell short of it right after she opened her mouth. She was just in a bad mood and it wasn't right for her to take it out on someone who wasn't even the source of the problem. "I-!," she sighed deeply and composed herself. Flicking her hair over her shoulder she apologized for her actions. "Sorry for having caused trouble."

Of course the apology was to Yamada and not the other two boys. She bowed to him and returned to her seat.

Kojiro glared at Kumiko, but he turned to Yamada and relaxed his anger, "You're right Yamada-san. I was caught up in my anger from this morning." He turned to Kumiko and bowed to her.

"Mizushima-san, let's stop fighting. I apologize for mocking you." While his face was turned down he smirked. He was only apologizing to get rid of her and Yamada. After today eh wouldn't interact with either of them ever again. Better to save face and get rid of them than protest and drag this out.

"Truce." she said from her seat. Not that she truly meant it, she would do her best not to cause any fights. But she would only do her best. If Kojiro even thought about starting anything she'd jump down his throat and rip it to shreds.

She really had to get in control of her anger. It couldn't be healthy to feel those levels of rage.

Isoroku did not act until apologies had been exchanged and the volume in the room had gone back up to the low murmur of conversation. As it did, he finally turned to look at Yamada.

"Any more words of wisdom for us, Yukimura?"

He carefully took a pen out of his pocket, placed its tip to paper, and smiled wryly, as though waiting.
