Kojiro hung up the phone and turned to Rin, "Come on, Rin, Isoroku's going to meet us over by the Kendo table. He smiled and lead her back to his clubs booth, though they were all long gone. "So, did you get all signed up before the fight broke out? I doubt there will be any more club activities for today."

----

When the teachers were done with their interrogation, Takuya felt slightly less annoyed. Though they insisted they wanted him to go see Edogawa again he declined. He did not want to see that man twice in once day. No he insisted to them he would just go home with is grandfather, he was certain he want to see him anyway. The week was shaping up badly...he had to regain control quickly. But at least now he had a majority of the faculty on his side again.

Some had been doubting, but he didn't mind. For now his thoughts shifted back to his news goal.

"Hikaru," He tapped his secretary on the shoulder, "Are you ready to go? I need to go back to my dorm and pack," He offered his hand to her again. If nothing else, he was not losing his grip here.

Rin followed him back to the kendo booth. "Yes I did get signed up. Seiya-san was kind enough to help me sign up." She glanced around the booth. "So how did things go for your club Kojiro-san?"

She almost didn't realize she was being addressed--he never called her by her first name. "Y-Yes, of course, whenever you're ready..." She took his hand again and squeezed it, face reddening with her happiness, and embarrassment at her happiness. "But, your nose, shouldn't you have it examined...? That is, if you have time."

She hazarded a glance at him to peer at the injury; though it'd been cleaned, the swelling and redness were still noticeable.

"I-I'm sorry... I should never have gotten involved in your business..."

God, he was enjoying this. He was a bit concerned that he might go too far, and Yamada would lunge at him... if it happened though, it happened. He'd just have to hope that there would not be a spear involved.

He realized that he would do much better if he could only discern why Yamada was so upset. He tried to think. He'd seen him over by the scuffle... he had no reason to believe that Yamada had ever interacted with the odd foreign boy, but he knew for a fact that Mori and Yamada did not get along. More than merely not get along, come to think of it... Yamada was mad about Mori and the fight... it was time to take a guess.

"Maybe you're right, Yukimura Kun. It is a shame that we have no samurai here today, isn't it?"

Isoroku gestured vaguely toward where the fight had taken place.

"Such unpleasantness, and we all know who will take all the punishment, and who will get away scott-free. This is not just, but no one will do anything about it. No one can do anything about it. Oh, some people scurried over to the fight, like buzzards, but they did nothing--maybe such people are the cowards that you have been telling me about. Justice was not served today. There are no samurai here, Yukimura Kun. Not a one."

There was so much gossip around that Kumiko decided it would be best to just up and leave. She went back to her dorm and showered off the day's labors, all while vividly remembering her dreams and the vision that briefly visited her.

'Rest...'

Kumiko stretched out and plopped onto her bed, thinking about the meaning of everything.

'What do I want...what do I want...? If I can really make a wish...' she pushed the thoughts of wishes and dreams out of her head and started to devise a plan on sneaking out without getting caught.

----

Akinari made himself comfortable on the couch, sandwiching a cushion between his chest and knees. Again, he shook his head. "Doesn't surprise me at all. And I like adventures...It...it has subtitles, right? My English pretty much sucks. I can understand enough of it when I have to read it in class, but that's about it." he laughed at himself.

Kojiro nodded, "We had a few more people sign up. But then the brawl broke out...And I got stuck doing demonstrations the whole time." He sighed, "Sorry I didn't answer your call earlier." He stopped at the table and grimaced when he saw everyone else had ditched. "I guess they want me to clean up? More punishment for skipping this morning..."

He cursed inwardly, perhaps Isoroku was right and he was the only social leper. "Um, Rin, do you think you could help me take down the table?" He felt a little embarrassed to ask, but there was the table, the equipment, and the papers all to bring back into the club room. It was a lot of work for one person.

----

Takuya internally thought Seiya was right, but he just shook his head. "No, no. I appreciate that you are always there for me. No matter what." He laced his fingers with her's, an empty gesture he knew she would like. "Especially since this week is going so badly... Between my inability for a good nights rest, strange dreams when I do, and the new students disrespect, everything is falling apart." He touched his other hand to his forehead, as if expressing fatigue and distress.

"Then there is Grandfather, pressuring me into one situation or another...if not for you, Hikaru, things would be absolutely abysmal." He turned to her ans smiled. He knew that appearing to be weak right now would reinforce her motivation to stay by his side. And with Seiya supporting him he could rally any nay-saying teachers or students into line.

"It is I who should be sorry for snapping at you, and treating you so poorly." He stopped walking and tilted her chin to look at him. "Do you forgive me?"

Hikaru's mouth opened, but so little sound came out. She felt almost overwhelmed by the closeness of him right now, in this moment. She felt like she was seeing some private, gentle side of him that no one else was ever allowed to see. She nodded dumbly. "Yes! ...Yes, of course... Takuya. I know you're under so much stress..." The girl clasped both her hands around Mori's, looking directly at him this time, "Please let me know how I can help. I, um... W-Well, I..."

She trailed off, blushing all over again.

Eber chuckled, "Of course! And it will help me with my Japanese, besides."

He eventually settled on a movie with fast cars, explosions, and gorgeous people--practically a Hollywood staple. He turned it on and let Akinari have the couch while he sat just in front of it, long legs stretched out in front of him. Through the movie, though his eyes were on the screen, they were unfocused, full of thought and scheming that were all Mori-related. And on how he was going to keep from getting expelled. And how he was going to investigate that bizarre blue door...

Yamada was further enraged with every single word that slithered from his mouth. It was mostly because he was right. He was right about every bit of it. Even he'd had no dignity in trying to prove that Mori had none, in trying to protect Hikaru from someone she didn't want to be protected from, in reaching out to a student that already had aide. He was nothing like the proud Samurai that he so respected.

He hated the lack of respect coloring everything he said as well, but he supposed he couldn't expect much more, could he? What had he done to earn the respect of someone he even thought of someone as lowly as Yoshida. He just wanted to prove it to him, or punch his lights out.

"I can't say that you're wrong Yoshida San, but I can say that some are much closer to it that others. There are some that would chose not to abuse the powers that have been bestowed upon them, even if by unjust means. There are even some people here who chose to use manners and grace even in the face of undefined beasts. I'm sure that even the Samurai had there bad days. Don't you think?"

He had no idea even what the hell he was saying anymore, but he's just so damn mad, but even more driven now. He just had to be better. He had to fight to be stronger and to defeat people like Mori and Yoshida. He well-knew he was better than them both and he felt now that he didn't have to stoop to their level to prove it, but he hated how damn good it felt to be there.

Isoroku was a little disappointed-- if that last snipe wasn't going to get Yamada to punch him, nothing would. He relished the idea of everyone watching the great Yamada break down and attack another student, even if it meant he got a bloody nose as a result... but it seemed as though today was not that day.

"I don't know, Yukimura Kun. Maybe, when our manners lapse, we merely get a look at who we really are. Excuse me, please."

He turned and set off at a brisk pace toward the Kendo table. He made it there in good time, nodding hello to Kojiro and Rin.

"Excuse my tardiness, I was involved in invigorating discourse. How're we doing over here at the sword-walloping booth?"

His hands clenched at the edge of the table and he had to bite his lip and shut his eyes to try and calm down. This was not the side of himself that he wanted to show to the world. This was unrefined, base and he was simply above it. He was so insulted and upset he just wanted to give the fuck up and storm away from the table, but he didn't. He continued to do his duty for the club. He got up and represented it as he'd been doing before the debacle.

Grandfather Mori had gone out of his way for this, he'd gone out of his way for this, and he was not about to give anyone else, especially Mori and Yoshida the satisfaction of him failing to keep the Sojutsu club alive so he went about it with renewed force, if not a bit too haard. He wasn't going to give in to petty bullies. Not ever again.

Takuya chuckled, in what seemed to be an amused way. He brushed Seiya's bangs with his finger tips and instructed her to follow him. He lead her back to the dorm, his facial expression read that head had calmed down, but inside there was a storm raging.

He knew he had a very small window before his grandfather arrived to take him, yes he was certain he was going to pull him from school for a couple of days, and he had things he needed to set in order. And Seiya was going to see to it that they were done. She was dependable and on his side always. He wanted to get back to his dorm and...persuade her, to make a few cases for him before he was removed.

He wasn't even concerned about what the teachers did to him. Between Seiya, his grandfather, and his own influence over them, at best it would be a slap on the wrist. But the student body was another matter, the first sign of weakness and they'd eat him alive. He had to keep his influence in affect even if he was out of sight.

He had to make sure everyone saw Eber Fridmund pay.

When they reached the dorms he took Seiya's hand again and was ready to lead her up to his rooms when he saw Fridmund sitting in the common room with is little 'girl friend'. He felt that rage grow stronger.

Hikaru clutched at his arm, trying to steer him upstairs, "Just leave it alone for now, Takuya..."

Eber was not nearly so opposed to another conflict--especially not where teachers were absent. "Did you come home to lick your wounds, President-san?" He didn't get up, though, not about to let himself get provoked again and take the blame twice.

Akinari nearly had a heart attack. It's like Mori had a tracking device on the pair. He squeezed Eber's shoulder to say 'Please don't start this again.' Must to his relief, he was showing no signs of leaping up. There was no way he'd actually be able to hold Eber back or pull him off of Mori if another fight broke out.

Rin nodded at Kojiro. "Of course I'll help you. It looks like it would be hard for one person to get it all." She felt pleased that she was able to help out. As she went to help him get started, she heard Yoshida's approach. "Ah hello um Yoshida-san." She waved slightly at him.

Takuya smirked at Eber, "I have not the time for you." he turned to Fujita, "Either of you..." He reached back and took Seiya's hand and squeezed it tightly. He had to avoid going after Fridmund again. Time was too short. No matter how much he wanted to leap across the room and break the boys face, he had to resist. He used Seiya as an anchor to hold him down. "You should be out there seeing the teachers, instead of hiding. But I suppose this what I should expect from someone like you, Fridmund." He turned and started to drag Seiya toward the stairs.

He felt the phone in his pocket vibrate. Great, he was already calling him. Time was shorter than he thought.

---

Kojiro looked up when he heard Rin address Isoroku. He had been taking down the table when the other book walked up, "So sign up for any clubs? Or did you miss out due to the big brawl?" He asked laughing. "I kind of wish I had seen it. I've never seen anyone go toe to toe with Mori, just heard about it after the fact."

Hikaru hurried along behind him, casting a curious backward glance at the other two boys.

------

Eber scowled when the two of them left, picking absentmindedly at his cheek again. "Coward..."

She snapped her fingers; an idea formed in her head. The best way to sneak off campus was to be off campus before dark. All she had to do was get out and stay out until dark to get to the train yard by midnight. Sneaking back in she would worry about later.

Kumiko changed her clothes and tucked a knife into her boots, setting out of the dorms. She'd waste time around shops the like until it was time to depart.

----

Akinari smacked at Eber's hand lightly. "Don't pick at it!" he stared at the staircase, watching the two seniors disappear. The mood had taken a nose dive again. "Come on, let's just watch the movie, ok? Don't worry too much about him. He's a bit of a jerk. Wait a minute...did...did he bring a girl into the dorm?!" his eyes widened as he turned his head to the steps again.

Takuya grunted angrily. He really wanted to get Fridmund. But he knew not to pick this fight. He took Seiya upstairs to his room and shut the door. He couldn't hold back slamming his fist into it.

"I hate him...Seiya!" He turned to her, "I hate him more than anything else..." He walked past her and sat on the bed, "And now I have to face the faculty and Grandfather for defending myself against a ruffian! You shouldn't be friends with such...such...fools!"

He leaned back and huffed. "The teachers will have to deal with him. I'm not wasting time on street trash any more. Everyone else can be fascinated by the fact he wasn't made in japan, but he's a low quality knock off. Simple."

Hikaru jumped when he punched the door, clasping her hands together and keeping very still, "What... What really happened in the courtyard, that made him so angry...?" She glanced at him but couldn't hold the eye contact for longer than a few moments, "It's just, Eber-kun is normally so friendly..."

------

"Bah!" Eber pouted a bit at the slap, which only made him want to pick at it more. "...Is it really that unusual? They only live across the yard."

"Well yeah! But," his voice dropped so low you'd have thought he was telling his darkest secret. "But, we're not supposed to invited them into our rooms. Especially not alone!" Akinari looked about for those pesky invisible eavesdroppers. "There are rules against it for...reasons, ya know?" his face began to flush with color when he thought about the possibilities of the 'reasons'.
