Yamada stared at the others for another minute then at the menu. He decided to chose the house special just to see what they were offering, but didn't expect too much. He was happy with his own homemade meals. He was a bit nervous, but also ready to go to the trains. He didn't want to be here more than necessary either and nodded to Mizushima in agreement.

Eber leaned back in the booth and sighed, knowing little would be done while Kojiro was outside.

"...I suggest we divide into two groups. We would be less conspicuous out of doors, and able to cover more ground within the tunnels whilst we explore."

"Mn." Kumiko agreed. "We would cover far more ground that way." she looked around the table. It was a clear decision. They would be split straight down the middle. But, not wanting to completely jump right into her conclusion, she asked anyway. "So...who is with who?"

Eber glanced at Kumiko and Yukimura, whom he was already familiar with, then looked across warily at Isoroku and Rin without answering the question directly.

Yamada saw where the German's eyes fell and nodded most immediately in agreement. "If you don't mind, I would like to go with you Mizushima-San." This seemed the most appropriate and much less volatile team.

She shrugged her shoulders, shaking her head. "That's pretty much what I figured. So it's Yamada-san, Fu-ri-do-mon-kun, and myself in a team and then you three in another." Kumiko pointed at the other side of the table.

"I know you've got my back." she smiled brightly at Eber. If she needed protection, it might as well be from him.

Rin gave a nod at the team selection. She felt releaved to be teamed up with Isoroku and Kojiro, since she knew them both best. "I have no objections to that." she glanced down her side of the table to see if either of them did.

When the waitress came, she hadn't even bothered to ask Isoroku for his order, though she did greet him by his first name. He came here a lot.

He considered the team assignments calmly. Kojiro was the most skilled fighter, so that was a plus. Rin was probably worthless in a fight, but her tests suggested that she was the smartest in the group-- after Isoroku, at least. So that wasn't so bad.

He nodded in assent. "Those groups sound good to me."

He glanced toward the exit, where Kojiro had retreated to. He wondered who on Earth could be on the phone-- wasn't everyone Kojiro knew right here?

"I know Kojiro is worried about us losing control of our Personas, but I am not greatly worried. I'm not surprised that a timid person like Seiya is concerned about it, but I think we should all be able to keep ours under control. Hell, mine went from trying to kill me to being my best pal the moment I made it respect me-- I think things would have to get pretty bad before they'd turn on us. Anyway, there's no other option. Seiya won't tell us where she got her gizmo, I think we've proven by now that she isn't interested in divulging any information to us."

Kojiro came back inside a few minutes after the teams were made. His disapproving scowl from the first day of school had returned in full force. In fact it seemed worse. He didn't say anything to anyone as he returned to his seat and sat down. Glaring a hole into the table. He didn't really hear them when they explained they were splitting up, he just nodded and muttered "Yeah, whatever," to anything anyone said to him. Even if it was something ridiculous.

Eber frowned at their impromptu leader's obvious distraction. He stood after a period of silence and gestured to Kumiko and Yukimura. "Let us see if we can get a head start. The three of them should discuss their strategy as well."

He went outside and waited on the walk for the other two.

'Oh look, he's in a bad mood again. Who'd guess? Glad I'm no stuck on his side...'

"Sounds like a plan to me." she pulled out a small coin pouch that had no coin in it. Inside, there was only large bills, neatly folded into tiny squares. Kumiko left two on the table for the meal she ordered. It was more than enough. Flashing the palm of her hand to the rest of the group sitting at the table she then left to catch up with Eber.

Yamada stared out the window at him for a moment too, but shrugged. He turned to Yoshida for just a moment and frowned at the small jab at Seiya but agreed with most of the sentiment. He was a bit impressed that the other boy had been able to overcome his Persona and hoped to do the same.

When Ishikawa returned he raised a brow to him and was a bit worried. His demeanor had changed rather abruptly. He wondered what was said on the phone to him that upset him so much, then sent a quizzical glance to both Mizushima and Eber. He was more than pleased with this decision and stood right away. He nodded to the others, but avoided eye-contact. He gave one more glance to Ishikawa. "See you down there." He wasn't sure he would, but he had to say something. He left his money on the table and followed them out. He seemed in a better mood as soon as they got out of the restaurant.

Kojiro looked up as they left and frowned. "What the hell?" He looked over at Rin and Isoroku who had to reexplain the group situation. once they were done Kojiro rolled his eyes. "Of course they made a group of there own!" He slammed his hand down on the table, making everyone in the restaurant jump.

He turned to the others, "Well at least they have Frimun. He's a good fighter...but Yamada has no experience! And Mizushima- just, ugh! Mizushima!!" He clenched his fist. He couldn't really think of a reason for her not to go. He was just angry she was. "Its just like school! The fucking popular kids skip off ignorant and retarded! They could have at least taken one of us that had actually spoken to Seiya or Igor or who were, you know, fucking trying to get more clues."

Kojiro stood up grumbling angrily. "I have to go. I'll meet you two at the tunnels later. There's something I need to take care of." He reached down and grabbed his sword and took off. He didn't look back at Rin or Isoroku as he stormed out. He didn't order anything, so he left no money. Not that he could anyway.

If it wasn't the students at school it was his stupid family, and now on top of that he had shadows to worry about. Everything just sucked all around.

Once the others had caught up he checked his mobile for the time and nodded. "It is getting dark... But there is still time to spend before the streets clear." The German straightened his clothing, fidgeting with the lack of action. "Shall we try to find this Velvet Room again?"

"Yeah, we should probably locate that." For some reason Kumiko felt inclined to agree with Eber. She would have come to have the same idea on her own, but the moment the words left his mouth she was already accepting the notion.

He nodded immediately. "Yes. That sounds to be the best course of action." He wondered if it was going to be just the same as in his dream. He was a bit worried at how behind he was. He wanted anything that could be an asset before just running off into a train in the night to fight monsters. This was absolutely ludicrous. He hoped Igor would shed some light, but from what he'd heard from the others he doubted it.

"I am not sure what more we can learn from it, but it certainly would not hurt. Let us go, then."

Eber led them confidently through town on the long walk to the shopping mall. Most of the dinner crowd was filtering slowly home. When they arrived, Sankyu department store was still open for business but Eleanor was not standing out front to greet the group this time. He looked around, lips pursed, trying to figure out where on earth the china section was.

"We are only looking for a blue door, correct?" It couldn't be that hard to find.

"Yeah, just a blue door. You'd think it would stand out in here." She looked alongside the wall closest to her, finding nothing. "Seriously, it should be like a beacon." Kumiko walked leisurely in search for the Victorian door.

Yamada nodded to him. "Why don't we each take a side? Right, forward and left. One of us is bound to find it." He needed to see this for himself and was very determined to do it. He saw that Mizushima had already headed off to do just that and he turned for the opposite direction, scanning the walls.

He assisted in the search, following the walls; he eventually discovered it on the other side of an enormous display for wedding flatware.

Eber gestured the two others over, cast a quick glance to be sure no clerk would see them creeping around, and opened the door to enter.

He stumbled forward, caught off his balance by suddenly being in motion. Steadying himself with a handful of blue velvet curtains, he gave his comrades a quiet warning to watch their step. Eleanor and Igor were seated just ahead, as always.

"Welcome. Ah... I see a new face among you." Eleanor stood, hands clasped in front of her, with a smile on her face.
