Kumiko braced herself for the sudden change in motion. It would take some getting used to. She still managed to lose her balance and caught herself on Eber's sleeve. "Sorry!" the slightly embarrassed girl shifted to stand upright. "Hello, Eleanor. Igor." she greeted them with a bow. She looked about; her mind still trying to explain how a moving train could be behind a door, in a completely stationary building, and be two places at once. But that was hardly what they were there for.

Yamada stumbled too, despite the warning and glanced around the strange room. "Hello to you both..." He seemed a bit lost and wondered about how this room existed, who these people were. He wasn't sure what to say, so he waited for them to instead.

Calmly,Isoroku watched everyone go. As the waitress came by to settle the check, he ordered a second bowl of Ramen.

He turned his gaze to Rin. "Still hungry."

He rapped his fingers on the table.

"Read... any good books lately?"

Eber didn't wait for invitation to take a seat in front of Igor.

"We came hoping for information, though we have heard you are not forthcoming." Igor smirked at the comment. "We have decided, as a whole, to pursue the Shadows, regardless of the danger. We feel that we have little choice."

He glanced behind himself at his comrades.

"...To be honest, we are only here to pass the time..."

Igor nodded, considering the three of you for a moment. He looked at Yukimura and spoke, "Yamada, isn't it? Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I believe you are the first to have come to me without having summoned his own Persona. Do you believe you will be able to, in the heat of battle? ...I fear that your conservative nature will be a hindrance."

Rin shifted nervously in her seat. First the other three had left, and then Kojiro had stormed off. The fact that he was upset was quite apparent. Rin glanced over at Isoroku's question. "Um a few, though I mostly read history books. How about you Isoroku-san?"

Yamada stared at the strange old man and nodded, that determined expression still on his face. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well. Though, I'm sure this has happened to each of us for a reason, and my nature is more than likely part of mine. I only hope to do my best for myself and for the others." He paused for a moment, watching his and the woman's face carefully. He had many things he wanted to question them on, but wasn't sure where to start. "Do you have any insight to offer to us?"

"You children are much less helpless than you seem to believe--As I told your friends, much of this mystery you will need to solve for yourselves. However, I ask that you exercise caution. You are treading dangerous ground, and you may lose yourself in the process. Do you understand what I mean by that, Yamada?"

He was very intent on the elderly man and nodded to him again. His thoughts were running everywhere again. He worried about each of the students and again remembered that man from the dream, that challenge in his eyes. He wasn't going to fail at this. He had to be strong. He was part of something now. He was sure of it, and these people around him were too. They'd been the other presences in this same room in his dream, he was sure of it, and he wasn't going to fail them either. He was positive that if one of them started to fall or started to get lost the others, no matter how dysfunctional, were going to pull them to safety. He was sure they'd do it for him, and just as sure he'd do the same for them.

"I do, but I'm sure, at the same, that we will prevail." Despite what he said he was going to consider the man's words very carefully as he went through this. He wasn't sure if he was being too serious for this conversation, because the other man seemed more casual. He wondered if he was just used to it. He seemed a bit embarrassed by it but didn't back down. He glanced at his two teammates to see their opinion on it then went right to Igor again. "We will be careful though. Thank you."

Igor nodded his approval, hands tightening around the knob of his cane. "Will there be anything else tonight, any of you that is?"

Kumiko shook her head. There weren't any new questions surfacing in her mind. But at least she knew where to go in case she did have something that needed answers. "Thank you for your time."

He had many, but agree with the man of the well-endowed nose that they needed to solve most of this on their own. That's how you learn anyway, isn't it? "Not from me. Thank you." He moved for the door, sort of itching to get to the trains, to learn more about it. He wanted to unlock his persona badly.

Eber, assuming this chat was finished, stood again and headed out. He hopped over the space where the floor of the car met department store tile, to offset the bizarre effect of the train's momentum, and held his hand out to Kumiko.

"Ready to go? By the time we cross town to the abandoned station, it should be dark enough to creep inside."

She took a hold of his hand and stepped out of the Velvet Room. "Thank you." Kumiko mentally beat herself for staring. "I'm ready. Yamada-san?" she looked back to see if he was coming.

He nodded to them as well. "Yes, thank you." He got ready for the odd sensation stepping back into the department store was sure to bring and followed them right out, steadying himself before he can completely lose his balance.

Kojiro wandered about town, alone, thinking. He was, as anyone could tell, highly upset. His mother had called him while they were eating in the ramen shop. Called to ask- no tell him, to bring home his left over wages from this summer because they were needed.

Its not that he minded helping his family out when they were in a jam, its just that he minded the fact that the money was going to his grandmother, not to his family. His grandmother, required many things in her final days. Some of it medication, some of it world comforts she begged and harassed his mother for. And if she didn't receive the later of the two, she went on a long tirade about how her son would provide and care for and give her whatever she needed.

And his mother went along, because of course, it was too cruel to deny the confused old woman or to try to explain to her that her son was dead.

He sighed as he walked up to an ATM. He really didn't want to do this. It meant he would be short on money for quite sometime. But it had to get to his mother tomorrow, Karin was coming by his school to pick it up. Kojiro propped up his sword and withdrew as much of his money as the machine would let him. He neatly folded it up and stuck it into his wallet. At least he still had his tips to look forward to this weekend. once he was all set he made his way to the train. He would wait for Isoroku and Rin there.

He still wanted to be alone for a while.

Eber smiled at his partners and led them out.

The walk back from the mall to the area of town housing the entrance to the condemned subway tracks took up the last of the evening. The streets were not empty, but those who remained were sparse and hidden under stoops or tucked into alleys. Eber was cautious of them because Kumiko was here and presumably quite appealing, but he wasn't worried anyone would care if some vandalizing kids trespassed onto the abandoned property.

He hopped over the chain and started down the stairs, pulling a small flashlight from his back pocket where it'd been tucked, "It is empty... We must have arrived before the others. Well, let us leave a note for them. We will go left, and they may go right."

He paused, looking around with brows furrowed. The German held his hand out to the girl beside him.

"Ah... Kumiko-senpai, your lipstick please."

'K-Kumiko-senpai? What is it with everyone today and saying my name...though it doesn't sound so bad when he says--' "Oh!" she stopped her mental rambling to catch up with the rest of the conversation. "Uh, yeah. Just a sec." Kumiko pat her sides to find the cylindrical object in her small pockets. She didn't really want to part with it, but if it was needed, she wasn't going to be a hindrance. "Here you go."

With the lipstick he was able to scrawl a quick message for the second team at the edge of the platform: F/M/Y, followed by an arrow pointing to the left.

"All right," he stowed the lipstick away for later use, in case the path branched again. "Let us begin."

Eber jumped down onto the tracks, stopped a moment to help Kumiko down, and led the way into the darkness, flashlight scoping out the space ahead. Idly, he wondered if walking down -in- the tracks was a very safe idea... But there was no other choice if they wanted to explore, and the train supposedly only ran on nights of the full moon anyway. He shrugged it off as something his Persona would be able to handle if it came down to it, though during this thought he wondered aloud, "I wonder how deep within the nest lies..."

Yamada stared ahead worrying just the same thing and unwrapped his weapon on their way. His jaw was tight with worry and concentration. "To be honest, I'm just as worried for what may precede it." He was thankful, however, for the flashlight, and for teammates.

The entirety of a dark tunnel that contained Shadows and a speeding train. "The tunnels go all over...this probably goes on forever or damn close." Being stuck down here was not an idea she liked. As much as she wanted to just charge ahead until she ran into a fork to get the exploring over with, she couldn't see in front of her far enough to know what was there.
