Hikaru mumbled a goodbye habitually into the already disconnected line and finished getting ready so that she could stop by the faculty office a bit early today. Oh, and she had to get her key back from Yamada, especially before Mori came to use it...

Eber made three laps around the entirety of campus, pushing himself and his friend to their limits; he slowed occasionally, but for the most part was content simply with the knowledge that Akinari was following him. He stopped at the dormitories at the end of his jog and sat on the steps, waiting for him to complete the last lap.

Yamada didn't remember he had the key in his possession until he was already in his classroom. As soon as he did he put his things down and went off to search for Seiya to return it. He'd been far too preoccupied lately and needed to find a way to sort out his thoughts. He frowned as he realized with the way things were it could only get worse.

At least today it didn't feel like his lungs caught fire. This was much better. Akinari rounded the final corner and saw Eber waiting. "I made it!" he stopped just short of the steps. "Did I do any better?"

Hikaru stood out in the hall in front of the student council room on the third floor, hands clasped behind her back while she waited for the sophmore patiently. She'd been there for a while, but she was sure he'd make it to her before the first bell rang.

Eber chuckled, "The fact that you finish at all is what matters. But yes, I think you kept up fairly well... Do not worry. At this rate, you will be uncatchable during baseball season." The German stood, heading back inside, "...Are you going to class soon, then? Have a good day."

He nodded. "Yeah, but I need to clean up a bit first. I'll see you later, Eber-kun." Akinari rushed inside, grabbed his bag and ran to school for a quick shower in the gym's locker room area. There was less of a chance at him being late that way.

"Good morning!" He bowed to everyone as he entered the first year room. Akinari took his place at his desk, ready for lectures. He would take great notes today. 'You never know how much you miss when you miss a day.'

He did make it to her. He'd obviously run part of the way, but tried to make it seem as if he hadn't. "Ah, Seiya-Sempai. Good morning." He stopped in front of her reached into his pocket for the key. "Thank you very much for letting me use the gymnasium last night." He fished the key from his pocket and held it out for her.

"That's all right, Yamada. Just think about what I said as far as workload goes... You're so close to being top of the class, I'd hate to see you lose focus. Okay?" She gave a small wave and moved towards the end of the hall where her homeroom was, "See you in cram school."

Kojiro arrived at his class room and looked around for Isoroku...He was still absent. He was, worried, but sure he had a good reason. Maybe he was sick? He did eat the ramen at that cheap looking store the other day.

He made his way to his seat and pulled out his notes. May as well review until class started. He had nothing better to do.

He nodded as he watched her go and wished he'd wished he'd allotted more time to talk to her. For a moment he just sort of stood there, then nodded and awkwardly waved back. He headed back to his own homeroom quickly after that and sat down at his desk.

Kumiko glared at Kojiro when he stepped through the door but kept her mouth shut. Even if suppressing that much rage caused her head to burst she'd do it if it meant she didn't have to be confronted by Mori again. 'Just keep facing forward and today will be okay.'

Class begins! And ends... Still there is no Isoroku. You wonder what's going on with him--or whether or not he's being tortured by Edogawa. Enjoy your lunchtime.

Kojiro gets up and goes to sit with Rin during lunch. "Hey...still no Isoroku. I hope he's not ill. But I guess since he's gone for now I'll help you study that stuff. Ok?"

By the time lunch begins Takuya pulls into the student parking lot, with another new car. His first order of business is to find Seiya. From the moment he's on campus grounds, he feels a tingle. A sort of sense of joy running through his nerves to be back in his domain.

But something else. Like someone else is happy...To be close to something. Ugh, has that pull worsened or eased it self? Its hard to tell...it will be hellish to function with this grating nag in his chest, trying to command him to go somewhere.

Perhaps his monster lives near by and simply wants to meet face to face? He scoffs. She had better come to him. That's the way it works.

He pulled out his phone and called his secretary.

Kumiko turns her phone on and checks for missed calls only to find a few text messages from friends. She then switches it to vibrate, no way she was missing a call. What to do for lunch? She wasn't really all that hungry...

"Hey, Yamada-san." she turned her head to look for him.

Akinari popped a bit of food in his mouth. He was bored and restless. There was nothing to do and no one to talk to. The students never really went out of their way to say hi to him. They were friendly enough when he spoke, but if Eber was not there Akinari seemed to just blend into the crowd. He placed his chopsticks neatly across the top of his bento and pulled out his phone. He sent a message to Eber:

Did they say it was ok? The study group?

He'd been distracted most of the day, and was almost relieved by lunch coming to a start. He ws surprised to be addressed and turned to see his female teammate. "Hello, Mizushima-san. Is something on your mind?" He had no idea if she wanted to talk or if something was going on, but he was happy to not be thinking for a minute.

Rin smiled as Kojiro came over. "Yeah I notied he wasn't here today either. But I'd be happy to have your help Kojiro-san. Though to be honest I'm not to sure what we can really learn from it though."

Eber glanced away from the TV long enough to check his phone. When he read the text he grimaced. It was quite a while before he responded.

It was really boring. I am not certain you want to come.

Hikaru answered, sitting with her friends during the lunch period.

"Seiya speaking!"

"Oh nothing much." she shrugged. Kumiko was more or less wasting time, but it didn't hurt to further get to know him. "We just...never really talk. And we're together. In the sense that we are friends." She added that last bit for the strange looks she got at the word 'together'. "But, uh do you think they'll be able to figure out the chemical compounds of that liquid?"

Really? That sucks! Oh well, I guess it all works out. It leaves me more time to practice and cook, right?

Akinari frowned a bit. He'd have to find other things to occupy his time.

He thought it over for a moment and answered sounding just the very tiniest bit bitter. "With two of the smartest students in class it should be no problem for them, but to be honest I'm not sure." He pulled out his lunch and ate politely. He spoke quietly so as not to be noticed by anyone and shrugged off her verification of their current standing. "What do you think?"

Kojiro shrugged as he ate. "We'll never know unless we try right? We can use the science labs after class today...if you have time I mean..."

"Ah! Seiya. Where are you?" Takuya was already on the move. Though he was suspended, he had no intention of letting that deter him from going up to the school to talk to Seiya. And he knew the teachers wouldn't stop him either. So long as he didn't enter class. And he was only planning to linger in the hallways...maybe the student council room.

Kumiko keeps her voice low. "It's possible. Buuuut, I have my doubts. One of the 'smart' ones seems to have gone AWOL or something and the other one can't keep a grasp on whats going on around her. But again, anything is possible. We should have just given it to you, right?" she laughs a bit. "Oooh, that's catty of me. I'm sure they're perfectly capable. They just need to be sat down and have it broken down to them a bit."

'Even if Yoshida's response to every situation is smile at it and bash it's face in and Junsui is about as aware as a prairie dog on narcotics...'
