Eber left two for the other boy but took the rest with gratitude, "I appreciate this, you have no idea." He stowed them away for later, fully intending to eat while cleaning this afternoon. He wasn't one hundred percent sure how the bond between the two of them suddenly became so close, but something about the small, bubbly boy made Eber want to defend him. He grinned inwardly. He didn't mind the idol worship so much either...

An arranged marriage. She supposed it wasn't that unusual for a boy of such importance, and Grandfather Mori's only grandchild. But she'd be lying to herself if she said it didn't make her chest feel tight on the inside. She imagined she could still feel the warmth of his hand where he'd touched her shoulder. Was this really the last year of school? It seemed like it should've taken longer than this, to get to where she was today.
She cheered herself up by remembering there was still University to look forward to.
