Isoroku was not amused.
The day had left him tired and annoyed. The events of the night prior had gone, all things considered, pretty well actually. When you take into account that they hadn't died and they'd literally been handed a trunk full of potentially useful information, it could've even been considered a success. But on the other hand it still irked him that they'd ran. More and more he wanted to push Leviathan, to see what the both of them were capable of or could be capable of and he didn't feel he'd see that unless they found themselves in a situation where running wasn't an option. Of course if that had been the case last night he would've probably been a toothpick for that monster down there.
Thoughts like these were what filled his head as he waited with the others in the Kendo room and, most pointedly, he ignored the request to take out a book and 'study'. He just continued to lay on his back, staring at the ceiling...until Eber and Akinari entered. 'Oh what the fuck...'
"Eber, what the hell are you doing? No. Ohhh-ho no." Isoroku pulled himself up to his feet (snapped his back and shook his head a little to do away with the last calls of sleep that were tugging at him for the moment) and walked over to the german and Akinari. "I didn't come here to study. What's the big deal, bringing this kid along?"
