Yamada leaned in to get a good look at it, eyebrows furrowing a bit. "I have no idea. A place like this shouldn't exist, but I suppose none of it should. Everything in ours was backwards. It was if reality was simply bent."

Rin sat forward a bit to see the maps Kojiro had drawn. "Hmm it almost seems like it's an entirely different world in the tunnels."

"A representation of Hell, and... Heaven?"

The German rubbed his chin in thought; he supposed the doors made sense in that context. Most people tended to have different perceptions of the rewards they would receive in Heaven, thus, the doors. But that... that man balloon... And Seiya was clearly moving through the rooms. They must lead somewhere.

Speaking of Seiya...

"Do you think those two have succeeded? The earthquakes stopped this morning..."

"None of this should exist. But I'm pretty sure we can't collectively be insane, so we can just accept that all of this is pretty fucked up. But what are we going to do about it?" Kumiko's brow knots up while she thought. "I don't know what the hell to do about a giant Shadow other than gang up on it and even that might be a bad idea. Success or not, we still haven't seen Seiya-senpai. I hope they're alright."

"What else is there to do? Sooner or later we're going to be up against some big fucking thing that we can't get away from. If we run or avoid this crap, we're not going to be ready when that happens." He finally got up and came over to the maps "What're the odds we can get back in the same way we have been? With all that quaking and whatever the hell Seiya and that green haired guy did to the entrance, I mean, we don't even know if we can get back in that way."

"Yoshida is correct. There seems to be little that we can do until or unless Seiya-senpai chooses to contact us..." Eber pat his bag at his side, "But do you really want to wait so long?"

"Well, we could always try. Remember what Yamada-san said out there? That there was bound to be another entrance further down." She rubbed the back of her neck, wondering if that entrance would be destroyed too. "There might be another gate to get through, but there's always the chance that the entry way is passable."

It was at least better than just sitting around.

Akinari wanders about from store to store trying to find all of the items he was requested to retrieve. He probably should have thought through how he was to carry such a large number of items. The boy stumbled into a store with his arms full of soda cans and plastic bottles and those arms further weighed down by the bags hanging from them. He stopped to ask the convenience store clerk for a box to put everything in. The clerk stiffled a laugh long enough to get the box for him before audibly chuckling.

Akinari squinted at the paper with everyone's meals scribbled on it. "W-what...No way, there's not even a Wild Duck Burger within walking distance of here!" He deflates a bit, carrying on with his mission.

Yamada thought over their options, trying to come up with anything at all. "I would like to hope that they've succeeded, but I can't be sure. I'd like to say that we should wait to be contacted about this, but you are right, we may be waiting for quite some time if we go that route. On the entrances though we can try and scope them out tonight, see if a different one really does lead to the same thing."

He frowned over what Yoshida said about some day coming across a monster they couldn't best and hoped that he was wrong, but didn't particularly think that he was. He was right that they had to be ready as they could be for it.

Kojiro held out the maps for everyone to see, "We should try to find Seiya." He said after listening to everyone. "I don't believed that she failed. Like Frimun said the earthquakes have stopped. And that thing we saw was huge. They're probably resting somewhere..." He handed Firdmund a copy of the map. "Here for you guys."

He then folded his copy up. "I like the idea of scooping out the stations tonight to see what we can find...But at the same time we found the first entrance through what other people were saying around town. So, lets leave a little early and see if anyone has any new gossip about the train."

Eber thought that sounded like a reasonable plan. A bit dull, perhaps... But definitely reasonable. "All right... I agree. Now pick up your books and help me keep Akinari-kun occupied." He sighed and flopped back on the floor, opening up his chemistry book.

"No one has seen her. I guess I could check around to see if anyone knows her room number, but I doubt she's there. Where do we even begin to look?" She sighed. "One step at a time, right? Let's just see what we can do about getting back."

'Oh God, what if they are trapped down there?'

Akinari could not see very well over the boxes he carried. His arms were terribly tired from holding everything for so long. The door opened and the only thing visible was his foot edging inside with obvious signs of struggle.

Ever the gentleman, Eber jumped up to assist.

"Easy now..." He caught the avalanche of boxes to place them gently on the floor. Two, four... eleven? The German rolled his eyes at the mass of Isoroku's "order". "Thank you for picking everything up, Aki-kun..."

Akinari thanked Eber for his help. "I think..." he caught his breath, "I think I got everything." He started to point out what orders were for who and passed out drinks. "Sorry I took so long, it took awhile to find everything."

Kojiro walked over and took Isoroku's and Rin's orders along with his own. "Thank you Fujita-san! You could have called as you were approaching the school, we would have come to help you."

He gave his friends their food and sat back down for some actual studying. At least he'd get some homework done today.

Food.

Now there was something he could get behind. Having not eaten lunch earlier, Isoroku took to the food as though it had been delivered from on high. Initially he simply tore into it, devouring the morsels in the way a garbage disposal might go about its work although he was (a little) more quiet about it. Eventually he managed to mutter some thanks to Akinari. He'd proven useful after all...

"You did great, thank you. Now, what else was it you wanted to study...?"

Eber took special care to wear Akinari's brain out with English vocabulary and memorization of the periodic table. As soon as they were finished with this faux study lesson, he'd have to get a twenty minute nap and meet the others off campus...

Kumiko stared at Yoshida as he ate. It was...a spectacle how he could eat so quickly and noisily. It wasn't even like a pig, it was more as if he'd dis-hinged his jaw and just swallowed it all whole.

----

At some point, Akinari stopped thinking entirely and there were English letters and phrases floating about nonsensically in his mind. He could study no more, the information wouldn't fit inside. "No moooore..." he groaned at the foreign language.

He smirked, "Are you ready to give up? That is all right... It is getting late besides, is it not?"

Akinari nodded, "I still have some things to do. If I get back now, I should still have just enough time to start on tomorrow's lunch, finish all my homework, clean up my room a bit" the list goes on for some time before Akinari eying Eber. "Don't stay up way late again."

He got up and waved. "Thank you for having me! Good night everyone!"
