OK, so this morning i get online and see some random guy messages me, and i don't know who it is. He tells me he has a mod, so I reported him and told him that i did. then he comes back to me saying this.
"i reported u too nd guess what i file 100 complaints to your account n all my friends will too for trying to fuck with me mother fucker, i will steal your ip band soon, and no shitty comebacks plz cus your blocked! fucking **** stfu"
i told him that he just broke 5 rules in those 2 letters and i reported him for each offense, then used some choice words in response to his.
But the main point is, do you think idiots who mod and then do crap like this deserve to be on xbox live.
Also, for those who think i should have kept to myself, why?

well you DEFINATELY won't get in trouble for this, as Microsoft will review what happened. As for him, he's definately in trouble. Yes, people like him SHOULD be banned

Whenever I'm in a game and I see someone using a mod, I lie to them and kindly tell them I'm the moderator of the server and if I see them using the mod again I'll ban their account. It's completely untrue but 99.999999% of the time they person will reply and apoligize for cheating. Its pretty hilarious. But I mainly do it because I don't like losing to cheaters. You should try it some time.

I don't play game's you can cheat in, like CoD, but that does sound fun

To be honest you should've just ignored him in the first place after you reported him. No reason to say "ha ha I reported you too" your just inviting him to report him back.

What he said. Once you report someone you don't need to tell them - keeps it anonymous and therefor saves you the trouble of having the person try to fuck you back. I don't put them on ignore all the time, but that's just because occasionally I find angry-stupid to be funny.

Someone pretended to be a mod once, and threatened to ban me. Knowing the way he was acting was totally unacceptable for a mod, I challenged him. He held his ground, and I held mine. However, after a few days of sending messages like "I'm still waiting for my ban", he finally gave in.
