When my computer HDD partition containing a load of personal files, including images, corrupted, I've had to live electronically from scratch. I would have loved to show you the image I had for so many years; it's a monkey riding the back of a car in a windsurfing pose.
But for now I use a screenshot I made in Halo Reach:
Nothing special, does its job. I'm not restoring the backups as I plan to get a new computer any month now...
Well, I remember posting in one of these not too long ago, but hey! My desktop's on a rotation of about 40/50 and changes every 10 minutes. Below are a few of my favourites:
They're running 'Gnome 3 shell', though I'm not sure what distro it is. It's the same desktop environment that I'm using (Ubuntu 12.04) though, there are several Distros that use Gnome 3.
It probably isn't Mint (11/12)
Might be Arch, Fedora, or Ubuntu.
TL;DR: Yes, it is Linux! Though, I'm not sure which one! (Feel free to ask me any questions if you are curious about Linux! )

Don't care that there's a water mark and it only takes up a quarter of my screen, it's Thane Krios with a watermelon addiction. It makes me happy.
