Arrested Development, for sure. One that really pissed me off was Odyssey 5. They just killed it after like episode 20, in the middle of a story arc. Seriously, it was a great show.

Invader Zim, Tremors, and Samurai Jack.

I would say Dragon Ball Z, but it wasn't cancelled, it was finished, and that leaves me feeling good inside. Besides, they're still making movies.

"Deadwood," that bizarrely entertaining blend of Shakespeare, the Old West and profanity, that had a marvelous first season, a slightly less marvelous second season and a lackluster third season, and then was cancelled leaving more unresolved threads than a scarf ripped in half. It was original, well-acted and with top-notch writing. Its cancellation and dissolution is something that I can only forgive HBO for since they let "The Wire" finish its narrative.

Plenty of the ones already mentioned so I won't repeat everything but these Tripping the Rift, Megas XLR and Clone High.

For unsung I'd wish Shasta, MTV's Downtown, Wonder Falls and Game Over didn't get cancelled ... all of these only got one season.

I would have to agree with a few folks here by also saying Invader Zim, and Samurai Jack. But I'm also going to add Star Trek Enterprise and Batman Beyond. I loved those shows.

Jericho.

I usually hate family drama, but a show that managed to put post-apocalypse survival as close to reality as possible, and throwing a family drama twist in the mix, just felt closer to reality than most family dramas ever possibly could. And of course, the best part would be the conspiracy theories being built oh thanks to our super spy Agent Dawkins and such, and how the America after the nukes exploded was going to struggle to become what it used to be.

Too bad the show was canceled :(

"Bite my shiny metal ass" no one mentioned that?
We were quoting lines from the episode, "Amazon Women in the Mood."

I've got another one for you, and again, big respect if you can name the episode.

"Bite my glorious golden ass!"

I love Arrested Development. I've probably watched each episode about 3 times. Let's hope the movie gets released.
I know, right? The show had an awesome storyline, great characters, and the dialoge was second to none. Who didn't laugh when Tobias spoke???

BTW: Futurama is back.

Invader Zim. *sniff*
No, the films are coming around. There is no new series.
The films are intended to make up the 4th (Not so sure) season.
I really need to see them...I've always thought that Futurama was the best of the maturish (for lack of a better, or real word) cartoons.

Incidentally, though, it made it through 5 complete seasons on TV, so the movies would be the 6th.

Futurama was great.
"Big heaping bowl of salt" I can tell you the events of an entire episode if I see the first ten to twenty seconds-excluding the title animation. I have just aboot every line memorized too. Lame, I know, but damn it I love Futurama.
