Shows cancelled too soon...

Ironically, Invader Zim was canceled because the execs at Nick found the show "too dark for children." This, after they hire Jhonen "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" Vasquez to animate it, because they wanted a show that the older kids could watch.

On-topic, besides the previously stated, there was a little-known show on the Sci-Fi Channel called "Jake 2.0". Lasted less than a season before getting scrapped. Great show, but then again...little-known. I guess they wanted a show that 100 million viewers watched with mediocre ratings, rather than a show that perhaps 10 million viewers watched that was well-rated.

Time Commanders.
Seriously, it was awesome. Does anyone remember it?
It was when two teams gave orders to armies using a slightly different version of Rome:Total War. I think Richard Hammond presented it.

Part 1.
Part 2.
Part 3.

"The most erotic part of the woman is the boo.....ahhh" as the Amazonian picks Zapp Brannigan up by the head. Classic!

"Tighter, tighter, maybe a hard spanking is in order... OW... TOO HARD!"
Femputer: "DEATH...BY SNU-SNU!!!"
Kiff:
Zapp "What are you gay?"

Also another classic from that episode...

Dexter's Laboratory, Invader Zim, Samurai Jack,

and of course Futurama. If the movies are well received after they release them as episodes they might make a new season. Let's cross our fingers :D

Futurama

It's coming back, but still

Fox keeps airing American Dad, but it's best animated series is killed off during its prime

Have they no shame?

Don't just sit there, crossing your fingers!

Buy the movies, every one. Buy multiple copies. Make your friends buy them. Do whatever it takes.

what about Drawn Together that was funny
NOOO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! that show was so bad, it was crude, dumb and incredibly stupid. it just wasnt funnny, relieing on cheap jokes, and gross out humor
I remember thinking the first few episodes were pretty funny. They pulled together a lot of hilarious stereo types of the animation world and had a good idea going with the whole "reality" TV bit. Then it all fell apart after a few episodes, and they just resorted to toilet humor.... for 2 whole seasons....

One show I wish they didn't finish, or more of, would bring back is Avatar. I know it wasn't canceled, but just the same as Firefly, there will never be a show that good on the channel it was broadcasted on again.

I actually had a dream a few weeks ago that I was watching a 4th season of it, and the best part is, the premise of the dream almost works for a true sequel. I'm just afraid to actually start writing it out because of the obvious pitfalls and stigma of (shudder)... fan fiction.

the BBC is good at ending shows before they get un-funny (The Office, Faulty Towers ect.) so it might have been for the best.
My brain tells me that you're right, but then again...

More Spaced would be the greatest thing to happen to the human race, in my opinion.

The makers haven't ruled it out completely yet. Pegg said a while ago :

"have never categorically ruled out the possibility of more. Tim, Daisy, Mike, Brian, Twist, Marsha and Colin all have destinies locked in mine and Jess's collective grey matter, who's to say they won't some day be played out."

Although that could easily be more of a fan pleasing statement. As Nick Frost pointed out :

?It?s dead. I know Simon doesn?t like to disappoint the fans so he says ?ooooh, maybe??, but I don?t have any sort of emotional attachment to it so I can just say it?s not happening.?

so to sum up, theres some hope yet.
