I haven't mentioned my obsessions...
I wouldn't say I have an addictive personality, but I'm absolutely mental about cats. It originates from when I was little, I don't know why.

Almost everyone I know.

But Doctor Who isn't an obsession. The TARDIS told me so.
It's a lifestyle!

As for mine: Twilight, Halo, Killzone, and the whole casual vs hard core argument.

The Halloween after the Dark Kinigit came out every other person was dressed as the Joker. I was tempted to grab a cheap Batman mask and go "crime fighting."

Fucking 'Merlin'. I hate hate hate it, and do not care at all about the show. Why must almost everyone I know suddenly become a fan of it? It's mediocre at best.

Well, I have this mate who is constantly going on and on about the swine flu. Every single time we start talking he first comes up with new information he has found of the swine flu, which new countries have gotten it etc. Sure it is serious and what not but for goodness sake you can talk about something else for a change!

So one time I did tell him to stop talking about it because it was so depressing and he just went quiet for a minute and then he said, "... Well, I just thought it's important to keep you informed since I know you don't watch a lot of TV." Oh, thanks. -_-;;

ANY obsession with a celebrity, or music artist of that nature. My partner "loves" Hayley Williams... I on the other hand do not.

Almost everyone at my school went like that for about a month when Borat came out, but the sad/annoying part was that only about half the people at my school could see it, the other half were doing impressions of the older peoples impressions...
i hate that the most, its always the annoying little dweebs from school. And it makes me hate whatever they're quoting...
god i hate people...

It would be nice if people would shut up about their WoW stats more often.

I also wish people would stop yammering on about their drinking habits. I understand that you like ruining your liver, but frankly, it's not an interesting topic.

Well said sir.

Personally, I found the One Tree Hill thing to be extremely irritating for a while - my friends kept forcing me to watch what is, essentially, a glorified soap opera. That I always hasten to point out, they bought on DVD. Soap opera. On DVD. Win.

Something I've noticed about a lot of people. You all have an unhealthy lack of interest in cycling.
Not too many hills in the UK though, eh? Flats will only get you so far. Sooner or later, you have to tackle some grades. There's a 1/4 mile 11% near me. I've only been able to take it once without stopping.
Not quite, we have plenty of uber steep hills. What we don't have is much in the way of uplifts or road access to them. Not far from my home there's a seven mile Downhill at a place called Rosedale and I live on a hill that's 100% (45deg) in places.
The people down south don't have many hills, but they're all soft anyway...
Pfft, I can't even ride a bike.
This needs to be fixed.

I really like the band Clutch. I mean, I REALLY like them. People tend to avoid asking me about my favorite band now, because once I start I can't stop.
