spears? I would LOVE spears to be put in but, I'd hope they'd arrive alongside voulges, halberds, crossbows, javelins... I guess I just want more variety in the range of murderising implements available to me. also, mounted combat would be just awesome. let's just hope some of the stuff does get implemented.

All of those things that are listed sound like something some random group of modders could create in less than a week. I can't imagine them being released on consoles in separate DLCs for a price or else it will be Horse Armour all over again.

I also fail to see how some of those are "experiments" if they've already been featured/created (by modders) before.
OP has it wrong. What they all are is a challenge of sorts set by Bethesda to it's employees to make something for Skyrim in a week. None of them are ideas for DLC, some might make it to DLC but none of them are ideas for standalone DLC. They hold a meeting after the week is up and share their ideas, it's not a formal DLC meeting though.

OT: See above. They've already said that the major DLC is going to be like an expansion pack, when they come up with DLC it'll be far more substantial than little mods like these.

At least 1/4 of those are already available as free mods. And that was before the creation kit became available.
Now, now you may as well not bother.

I'm aware which is why I never said "These features will be implemented as DLC", you'll noticed I said they're playing around with the ideas or as they call them experiments.

If you listen to the video (which was not in my original source, but is there now courtesy of chicago ted) specifically 0:50 to about 1:10, you'll see that he says that they the release of the material is to be determined and they don't know whether they'll include it in future DLCs or pathches. Also I never said they'd be standalone DLCs. Not sure where everyone is getting that idea when there is a section right under the list saying that I don't think these will be DLCs in an of themselves.

I'll be happy with Skyrim when it gets a combat system like Mount & Blade. Until then, no. I'm not happy.

The only reason I play Oblivion is because there are mods that make it more like M&B.

"Skyrim DLC ideas announced" throws the idea that you're explicitly saying they're going to be DLC. You can speculate that they won't be stand alone DLC, but that's speculation. I wasn't insulting you in saying you were wrong. I've seen the video, that's where all my info came from. They say they might make it into some DLC, not that they were ideas for DLC.

I would like the werebear. Mostly so I can yell out WEREBEAR, it's fun to say. Also I feel like the kinect will backfire when you swear, they'll probably have the game yell at you or something fun like that. I hope that if these come out, they'll be added to Xbox live or something, I have the space on my hard drive I can do this. And if they do werebears, they have to do the other wereanimals, like weresharks, and wereboars, and werealligators. The amount of insanity would be awesome.

On the contrary, if I was saying that the DLC has been confirmed, I would have omitted the use of "ideas", and written the title as "Skyrim DLC Announced". Ideas are by definition a rough thought or suggestion on a possible course of action, which fits the title perfectly well.

Adoption of children - Moddable. But why only adoption and not just creating one yourself through your wife. Jeesh.
Probably because, while all children in Skyrim are of a vague age, it would be really awkward to end up with a pregnancy alert after "Lover's Comfort", then have a nine-year-old wandering the house after 72 in-game hours... and all the more awkward if you expect a realistic growth period and have to wait nine in-game months for the pregnancy alone, never mind the many in-game years before you can do anything meaningful with the kid...

Let's just say that years in Skyrim don't pass THAT quickly.

Also, what if your character is female? Do you think most people playing a female Dovahkiin should take maternity leave?

FIX THE DAMN NAVMESH BUG

i used to be a fan of them but then i .. got really annoyed at them deciding to not support different platforms properly
Todd Howard said when introducing the list Game Jam that these things would be released as part of a bigger DLC or free downloads

Epic mounts (especially as i destroyed the dark brotherhood)would be good.
Mounted combat about sodding time it always broke the flow of both oblivion and skyrim having to dismount to fight people.
Giant mudcrab looked cool (generic sea monsters appearing like dragons would be great.
Home building could be awesome or not enough. What if you've done all the quests and want a castle would it allow that?
Child adoption, not to sound like a perv but would rather make my own.
Kill cams and other mechanics just put them in anyway.

How about they expand the game, open up ALL of Tamriel! Highrock, Hammerfell, Morrow-Wind, Black Marsh, Elsweyr, Cyrodiil, etc etc. Imagine the insanity- i know the game never ends but now the exploration never will either! =D
