Without a doubt, I have been playing it pretty much nonstop and have enjoyed every second. Likely to enjoy it for a long time to come as well. I mean, was playing Oblivion up until Skyrim came out. Will most likely be playing Skyrim until the next one comes out.

Yep. I finished the main story quest with doing roughly 20 hours of random things that caught my attention, and I was on my next character just the following weekend. A bit of a different build, and I went to be friends with the Empire because the Stormcloak insight didn't quite fulfill me, in fact I started hating on everyone because of it. Still, it was a great trip, and I'm loving it even more the second time around, where my guesses and decisions are... just a wee bit more educated. It's still a joy to watch.

But I have to admit that during my second playthrough, I've finally encountered all those crashes and freezes and other more debilitating bugs that oddly just didn't happen the first time around.

If you go to Saarthal on the Mages quest, don't bring your follower. Just sayin'.

Captcha: I DO NOT HAVE HEBREW OR GREEK THINGS ON MY KEYBOARD, SORRY.

I have now played the game since it came out. I've basically completed it. My Breton has done every single quest line possible. and actually reduced my "miscellaneous" to around 3 markers (bugs that won't go away)

And I'll admit, it got boring, I had nothing else to do. but before you murder me, know that I started a new game.
"I got bored with Skyrim, then I made an Orc, and it was k." (Sorry I had to make that joke.)

There is only so much one can do with ONE character. But there is such an insane amount of things you can do within Skyrim. I'll still recommend it.

It's a good game. After close to 90ish hours, my first character (battlemage-ish character) is getting a little stale, so I'm trying to blaze through the rest of the MQ so I can start my Legionnaire-Companion-Thief-Assassin character.

Still good? What kind of question is that?
My main character is almost "complete", he has maxed several of the skills he uses, and done tons of quests and freeroaming.
But even when a normal game would die, Skyrim keeps me going.

It is worth the money, by far.

115 hours in on my archer/stealth/dual wield khajiit, have finished the main story. Just grinding two handed in order to hit level 50 for the achievement then I'm gonna roll a either a pure magic or spellsword type character and do it all over again for hopefully another 115 hours.

So....yeah definitely worth it.

I've played 100 hours and haven't beaten the main story, not even because I'm avoiding it, there's just so much shit to do.

Yup.
Ask again in a year, you'll get the same answer, because I'll be on my third or fourth character. Probably a pure mage type.

Yup, I got my money's worth out of it. I haven't even beaten the mainquest and there are many other quests which I haven't done. It was definitely worth it.

It's getting progressively better as more mods come out and I learned to play around the bugs.
The best solution to better gameplay is to avoid the menu system completely, I use it maybe once every 5-10 hours and my game time simply good.
But you do need to sell your shit every once in a while, not that you actually need money I just have loot OCD, must.. pick.. up.. every.. precious!

Ok, so we all know when Skyrim was released the gaming community collectively came in its pants (some more than others) but couldn?t that have just been a reaction to the game finally coming out? Now that a few weeks have passed and you have most likely completed at least the main story quest, is there that much left to explore? Was it really worth the 60 USD (or however much you paid for it)? now that you have the benefit of a few weeks between release and now, would you still recommend this game?
~Just asking
i own it on the PS3 and ill say they only thing i regret is not getting the collectors edition.

89 hours, still going.

After defeating Alduin and becoming leader of the Dark Brotherhood I had a brief retirement, before a courier holla'd and I was called back into action by the Jarl of Solitude. Currently I'm focusing more on magic (since I've maxed out archery and sneak) and rolling with the College of Winterhold, after which I plan to join the Imperial Legion.

And then retirement shall resume. Not from Skyrim, you understand; in Skyrim.

Is it good? Yes. Is it GOTY Amazing? No.

I don't feel that Skyrim has anywhere near the replay value that it's prior titles had simply because of the lack of innovation.

That said, this type of game is still extremely scarce on the market and well worthy your money. I'd recommend it and score it a 7.5/10

Still great. I never really got all that hyped about Skyrim before it's release. When it came out and I played it I was genuinely surprised by how great it was. And I still consider it great, even better than I had originally thought.

I was ridiculously hyped for Skyrim and it still exceeded my expectations. 60 hours in I'm still finding new and exciting things.

I think we'll be talking about Skyrim in a positive light until the next TES game rolls out...
ESPECIALLY come January, when they release the Creation Kit.

I paid £40. Let's do a cost comparative, shall we?

That's one Friday night that'll leave me with some blank spots in my memory, a few regrets for however I managed to make a tit out of myself, and a hangover that'll probably last all day.

OR

That's a game that will give me at least 100 hours of entertainment (I'm at about 110, and just mopping up the last few achievements), not including re-plays at a later date.

What do you think? Is it worth the money?
