I'm in 137 hours, I've only just crush the rebellion...
Though I've been the boss of every guild for a while... Like a boss.

Next storylline quest I have to do is "Diplomatic Immunity"...
But first I want to master enchanting, so I can enchant my legendary Daedric equipment so it at least recharges magica at the same rate as archmage robes and Morokei.
And maybe some resistances...
Those Forsworn Briarhearts with their lightning are a bit hard...
In fact, I have problems fighting most high level mage types...
Why recharge magicka? When you can reduce macicka cost of spells with 100%.
Because I have to do that separately for every school of magic.
Anyway, forst thing I want to do is create a set of clothes with Fortify Enchanting, which I will then use to create a better set of clothes with Fortify Ecnhanting, which I will then use to create a better set of clothes with Fortify Enchanting...

I'm in about 50 hours. I haven't completed any of the major sidequests. I bouncing it would seem for plot to plot. Also when I saw the Nightengale armor I said "fuck the world" I'm a gonna be Revan!!!!!!!!!

Well, I dont think you can actually fortify enchating with enchantments. Just as you cant fortify alchemy with potions. You have to fortify alchemy with enchantments fortify enchantments with alchemy then fortify alchemy with enchantments..

Your looking at someone who is playing both Skyrim and Demon Souls. Playing more Demons Souls because I find it more rewarding when I get further. I go back to Skyrim if I want an open easy world good time. I know everybody likes to crap on New Vegas, but at least it had some really hard parts.
Same boat but with Dark Souls. I've put over 60 hours into each (with is astonishing/worrying given my course load right now).

Who cares how quickly you finish the game? Why is it your problem anyway, let people play how they want to.

I for one just wanted to kill Alduin, and I did at 48 hours in. Plus I wanted to get it largely out of the way.
I was really let down with the ending though; Alduin was piss easy at level 36, and the fact that there was no loot pisses me off no end.
Alduin is unlootable; there goes me hoping for some epic sword called 'Alduin's Fang' or something along those lines, you can explore Sovngarde which gives NOTHING bar some bloody food, and then you get two shouts to call either Odahviing or some ghosts to help you.
Fuck that.

I've decided to make my own final Alduin loot weapons using enchanted Daedric ones, just renamed.

Currently I'm doing that Gauldur Amulet pieces quest, but can't find out how to open the door to Saarthal....

Wait, what do you mean? 20-30 hours is plenty of time to finish the main quest, and how will time spent dicking around change one's opinion on the main quest? Hell, I think I finished the main quest in under 30 hours. It was cool, so I actually focused on it for once.

Actually, I found a helmet which fortifies enchantments by 25%...
Now I just have to find it again it that chest is Breezehome...

Guys, it's wonderful to see that at least few of you play this game like it was meant to be played. I'm proud of you. No. Really i am. Thank you. :)

True. Question is : why ? Isn't this like you said "dicking around" more fun ?

90ish hours in. I'm thinking of getting to High Hrothgar tonight. Then I'll go back to exploring every nook and cranny of the world and trying to get it marked (cleared)

Same here. For my husband the door was just bloody open. Maybe there is a secondary entry way.

I don't rush in Skyrim. True, I want to play it every day (and I do) but I hardly even explored the world xD I'm level 21 and the only major town I've been in is Whiterun just because I decided to go in that direction. So far as a fighter I suck because I've been upgrading my alchemy ans sneaking so I have to change that soon. I just explore the wilderness and enjoying every single minute of it

OMG...... *Runs off to play skyrim* Thankyou-youaremygod-forumsgotmyhopesdown-yousavedmyday. Technically this means you could just increase enchantment to the point of having 50% mana saved, having the 2 enchantments perk. You could reduce the mana cost of all spell schools to 0. Illusion, Conjuration, Destruction,Restoration, altera(ohno 5) Ah well, its not like you used Alteration anyway.

immersion
Probably doesn't mean what you think it means, if you think this is precluded by beating the game in 30 hours.
Immersion. From the POV of gamer : being submerged in a game. Forgetting about outside world. Being interested in lore (if applicable), treating it like second, almost real world. Finally, and probably most importantly : trying to "be" your own hero, acting like he/she actually lives.

Simply spending plenty of time playing some game and not caring about outside world isn't "immersion". It's seclusion, isolation and such.

Did i pass the test ?
