Bungie. For making the Halo 2 crosshair below the center of the screen. Douchebags.
Holy shit. Definitely this. That was the biggest pain in the ass ever. Great game, yeah, but that problem was even worse in Halo 3.
I know aye! What was going through their minds when they thought of this? "Ah fuck it, the game is selling this well, lets see how they'll react if we fuck with them a bit..."

Lucas Arts for not making another Battlefront installment for home consoles
Thank you. I was so pissed when I heard BF III was canceled. Also for apparently not even trying to make a next-gen Star Wars piloting game. *slap* I want to fly TIE bombers on my 360, damnit! Not like just Battlefront, you understand, but a game dedicated to space dogfights.

World of Warcraft having every important antagonist from previous titles killed by "a group of adventurers"

Why did the night elves sacrifice their imortality to kill Archimonde in the first place when a FRIGGIN RAID GROUP COULD'VE DONE IT! (for epix)

I'll slap them silly for not releasing Battlefront 3. Seriously, the other two were amazing, surely a third would be successful!

Ubisoft for all the repetitiveness in Assassins Creed. *slaps* Repetitiveness in games is a bad thing.
I know it is an opinion shared by few, but I didn't mind Assassin's Creed. Sure, the middle bit was repetitive, but they pulled some uniqueness out. If I had to berate Assassin's Creed for anything, it would be the severe lack of difficulty, how easy it is to evade guards, and how, at the end, nothing short of running into the guardpost, pursuing your target, will kill you.

That and the GOSH-DARNED BOATS!

That being said, I played the Director's Cut PC version, so it had quicktravel in the end.

Also, to the person complaining about raid groups taking out villains, keep this in mind:

One, the max level was 10 in Warcraft III, and is 80 now.

Two, in the case of the Caverns of Time, the Infinite Dragonflight interfere with the timeline, making details in history become skewed, requiring heroes.

Three, an army of 10/25 heroes, all at the level cap, COULD probably take out these major villains. You're talking about people who have, in their travels, done heroic deeds, and now are using their mythic items to take out major villains. Even major villains CAN be killed.

Treyarch, for taking the James Bond license and turning it into a sub-standard Gears of War rehash with Quicktime Events and poor level design. What part of any of that seemed like a good idea?

I agree that the OP should've given his reasons when hating on Treyarch, but make no mistake, there are reasons. They have done bad things.

Things in a game you want to slap a dev. about and just say "No".

Borderlands; exceptional game in just about every aspect, just one things gets me, dollars? Were on another freakin' world called Pandora! Can't the currency be called Pandorans or Chaosics?

Another is Treyarch for existing.

Oh and Infinity Ward, stop catering for online arses who will do nothing but camp and use the grenade launcher all day.

EDIT: Apparently I'm a troll about hating Treyarch, so if you want me to be more precise; Not one game that comes to mind when I say "Treyarch" 'cept from CoD: WaW which was bad, and I shouldn't need to be precise why that was bad, so I'll talk like a troll here. "american, LOL! american kill stupid japs, LOL! Using melee makes you less of a man LOL! Russians are super evil LOL!"

In seriousness, Story was bad, Gameplay was a direct and shameless rip off of CoD4. And if can't think of a good game, just one good game, that means they aren't a good developer in my eyes. Nazi Zombies was good, don't get me wrong, hell sometimes i might play it if im in the right mood, but something like that shouldn't save a bad game from being bad, its like calling a murderer ok because he kills, but he leaves a joke afterwards.

Now to all the people who have said "Stop blaming a dev. for making money" I CAN hate them for doing so, in that they are making it difficult for more good developers to stand forward, absorbing the money of morons so the morons have less to spend, ergo the saying "The biggest bastard wins"
Could you tell me how many planets there were before, called Pandora? Avatar released 2 months later, so it doesn't count.

I agree with that i thought the game looked really good and the idea of it sounded great...then you play it and you think "what..the..fuck?!" i played it 10 minutes and ended up snapping it.

OT: Far Cry 2 NPC's being able to know where you are even if you sniper them from like 2 miles away.

A slap for the dev that said planet scanning was fun, jesus i felt like i was at work in between missions, Watching a little bar move up and down while listening for beeps was totally engaging and immersing.

"IT was a rip off of CoD4"
It's the fucking sequel, what the fuck do you expect?
Mind if I ask the same thing?

I mean, of course it had the same gameplay. It's the same franchise!

That's like saying Aliens was a rip-off of Alien simply because they didn't have the same director.
People have been using that as an excuse for hating it since release.
It's as bad as people complaining about Resident Evil 5's gameplay, yet they LOVED Re4s...
Stupidity knows no bounds.
Sorry for the double post but this has to be said. It wasnt a rip off at all. The multiplayer was a CARBON COPY. There were no innovotive new features, there was no new anything. All they did was swap UAV for a plane, airstrike for artillery, and copters for dogs. Also they added overpowered tanks that made the games fun rating plumet also. It is not stupidity to expect SOME changes to the loved and worshipped multiplayer that the fourth cod boasted (that didnt ruin the game for anyone but spawn campers who like to blast high explosives into your face one second after spawn). Thats like saying "why do people hate aliens when its the exact same as alien just set 100 years before with changed weapons and backgrounds". The worst thing was they took something good, copied it, and made it worse.

I know aliens is a different story but thats basically what your saying. The perks where the same, the weapon layout was the same, the classes were the same, the killstreaks were the same. Oh wait they had a load of expensive DLC that meant i could only join 1/8 games. That was a wonderful innovitive improvement also.

...That has nothing to do with anything. But hell if I know, I didn't even know the planet in Avatar was called Pandora, well I remember someone said something about Pandora and Avatar and blue things...In fact scratch that, I didn't know.
