Slender Man Myth

Just watched the series on YouTube. It's pretty mint - the acting's a bit weak, but otherwise I like it. It takes a lot of pre-production to plan something like this out, especially considering how long the videos have been coming out.

Surely the slender man is simply an inspiration from the moth man and other myths.

Actually, Mothman is a cryptid, that is, a creature that is known to possibly exist, though whose existance has no scientific proof.

Thank you for posting this thread. I am interested in almost everything paranormal but have never heard of the 'Slender Man'. I'll definitely be checking out these hornet videos. =-)

Sorry, I wasn't criticising you, I think healthy speculation is all well and good, I meant the negativity towards the guys making the videos. They're doing really well with them and they're good fun, but their presentation should, in my opinion, be a little more explicitly fictional, young people and the stupids might find it hard to differentiate between fact and fiction on this topic otherwise. Specifically, the twitter, is deliberately misleading.
