I read this story, and now I cannot sleep in complete darkness. For about two weeks I had to sleep with a night light and the TV on. Now it's just the night light, but complete darkness still scares me.

Also, you seen the journal witht he ex-war vet who gets put in a mental asylum and hangs himself? That's another pretty creepy edition to the Slender Man mythos.

Also, wasn't his original thing was taking kids and eating them?...Other, maybe that was after the Marble Hornet fake-docs.

Either way, I know my friend loves that stuff, I should ask him if any more updates have come out.

More like the possibility that he exists only because we've been focusing on him so much.

Of course its an awesome move on whoever thought it up. It just adds to that paranoia that you can get. And then that adds to it because you're thinking about him, which causes you to think about him more...

But, I think that the slender community needs to come to an agreement of what EXACTLY he does to people, because we have the whole plastic bags and trees thing, as well as tearing people open, and then the whole impaled on trees thing... I think we need one thing

It's Something Awful. It's like 4chan but not as vile. This has no validity, and I'm not going to buy into it until I see the Slenderman myself and survive. Either way, I've been watching Marble Hornets since #8, and it still manages to scare the shit out of me. Check out totheark's responses, as well as Jay's twitter.
