Also i may have made a few mistakes with the weaponry, i haven't play CoD4 or looked at the weaponry related recently, i've been more concerned with weapons such as the L115A, and WWII weaponary, plus some "in production" weaponary.

Does it seem odd to anyone else that he has a 118 kill streak with 7 hours of sniper playtime?

Anyway, about the rest of your post: The M16 is accurate, yes. It also has low recoil. This doesn't make it cheap, nor does it make it a sniper rifle. It makes it an assault rifle.

Orange map, large and sniper friendly, i got to admit, i almost got backstabbed twice (thank you, pyro) it was (as a friend worded it) a point and click adventure. an engee build a dispenser next to me because i needed the ammo XD.

Well in games there is 2 things missing that would make it like a proper shooter, 1. no jamming, WHY NO JAMMING! ITS REALISTIC! and 2. bullets don't dip...don't you find that a little strange.

First of all. If you are going to be a douchebag (and from all the posts I have seen if yours you are) you can go back to wherever you came from.
Secondly, don't call people fanboys for simply pointing out that one console has sold far far more than the one you picked.
By over reacting and acting like a twat you have just proven that you are a ps3 fanboy and thus lost any worth in any argument.

I enjoy the occasional snipe every now and then on CoD 4&5 but after a couple of rounds it gets a bit dull so get out the MP5 with double tap and go spray n pray.

I'm fairly good at sniping, but the problem is that most multiplayer maps often don't have the best sniper points. Most of the spots that you'll see someone sniping from could be more effectively held with a machine gun. Also, sniping never helps out with objective-based games unless you have perfectly coordinated teamwork (i.e. you cover a group while they advance), all of which requires good communication, the two words that still manage to elude online gaming. If I had a PS3, I would be excited for MAG, which actually seems to have a fair bit of coordination, in that not all 128 people on the team have to be in sync, just the small squads. Also, with the addition of a commander and squad leaders, people will probably stay in line to the orders given a bit more. This should provide ample opportunity for snipers to finally get a shot at helping out with the objective, instead of just mindlessly racking up kills for themselves.

However, I still disagree. There have been multiple times in my battlefield games that snipers turned the tide of the battle. I'll tell yea what, you get a squad of excellent snipers, and the other team is fucked.

Not necessarily, because im a fairly good tactician as well, i dev-ed my own squad, 1 shotgunner with explosives, 2 sub-machineguns one had a MP5 and the other had a P90 (both silenced), 2 Assault gunners, one had the M4 Carbine and the other had the last light machinegun you get (below the RPD on the weapons screen) with an M16 Assault rifle (that guy was the only one without camo, he was the guy everyone would run to so we could pick them off) and of course 2 snipers, me with the Dragonov and the other with the Barrett. We had about 3-5 matches with that squad, we never lost.

In simple terms, squad of snipers, not such a good idea.

Ok, so i hear about all these people go on about how great snipers they are saying stuff along the lines of "Oh im a great sniper, i never die" and so i think fair enough, your playing your ego a bit, but whatever. I try and give them an idea on how good i am, without trying to butter it up, im a fairly good sniper. I'm very accurate and battle-smart, but of course im not the best, i do screw up sometimes and i pay for it and die from some moron with a machinegun (FYI i hate machineguns, not so much the ones who use it well, but the ones that camp for the whole match).

Now to the point: People say there awesome snipers, i argue, without trying to brag, not many people beat or snipe me, its lying people, if you don't believe me, try me, i want people to stop saying there good with a sniper when there not.

I don't think I'm an awesome sniper. On my games I do what I deem necessary - sometimes that means sniping. Really, I'm not the best at anything, I'm just a great opportunist. Of course, I do my best to further the cause of my team, but I react to the situation around me. I'm never a sniper or spec ops or support or medic... I'm whatever the situation calls for.

Having said that, I've had some incredibly sweet sniping (and anti-sniping) tales.

I have to figure it's embarrassing for a sniper who's shooting a dude to get killed by that dude who's using a M-16 from several hundred yards away.
