Well this sucks for me, I can't get to college because Im snowed in and live in the middle of nowhere. All my friends are out doing the usual stuff you do in the snow: Snowmen, Snowballs etc.

What do you guys have to do when you snow in. My Playstation is busted so Im gonna have to find something to occupy time.

All I've got is my laptop and the internet. Not even a TV.

It's my own fault, I chose this week to go away to a cottage in the middle of nowhere on a writing retreat...

A. I. War: Fleet Command

That should last the full duration of ANY blizzard.

It doesn't snow in Australia. Ever. We're too manly for the white fluffy stuff, too buys fighting giant spiders. All that jazz.

Ugh, I hate that games interface, so clunky. Good game though.

Oh its brilliant. It really is. Its snowed just enough to get in the way of everything I do while not stopping anyone from going to college. However I am one of the only people who is going in because they're all taking it as a chance to say its to dangerous to walk there, and I only live 10 minutes walk away.

Up in wales my brother has gotten about a foot (i'm not kidding) of snow at the bottom of the hill he lives on. Kinda wish we had that.

Meanwhile if uni were on now here in Aus, I'd swelter in the middle-of-the-day heat, whimpering and trying to pry my sticky sweat-laden clothes from my skin.
In short, get out there and play in de snow! No matter what the cost >:3 Jump out the window or even off the roof if you need to! Enjoy!

I walked to my cousin's yesterday because it was her birthday and her high school and my college (they are right next to each other, both on the same grounds). And since it's closed today, I'm off into the town centre with my friend since it's his birthday.

With global warming... the UK would get colder... when the gulf stream goes bye-bye ¬¬.

It's like -5 in Scotland and I'm looking outside at a foot and a half of snow at least. I can't get anywhere.

You know it's funny

Every time I get a scene of snowfall outside my window, I immediately want to look at the expression on Al Gore's face, just to get a good laugh.

"Global warming my rear end!"

As for what to do, I reccommend a good book, always nice.

About -2 or 3 I think.
Don?t have a thermometer on me but that?s where its been since the snow started falling.

Sadly most people have the same reaction, not realizing that global warming doesn't mean that the entire earth would warm the same amount all over, but instead that some places (like Africa) would become an eroded desert, while others would become a chilly tundra.

Instead of just looking outside and going "it's cold today, global warming my ass!", you should check up on the science behind it. Most of the most brilliant people on earth believe that it is our inability to act on global warming that potentially could mean our undoing.

I don't get where this snow is. I'm in the UK and I woke up this morning and it was completely clear out, maybe with some slight snow on the fields.

Yesterday there was about 1mm of snow. Woooooo exciting. People called in stranded to work, yet we all live within a 5 mile radius and there's NO SNOW.

But maybe the clouds had a big gap in them just where I live. I've seen on TV how bad it is... but wow. Where I live just got missed... maybe this weekend ^^

If I WAS snowed in, I'd so just wrap up warm, make hot chocolate and get my game on. What else would I need to do? :)

MMOs were designed for snow days. Going to farm for sapphires and rubies on Guild Wars.
