I play in SD because:
A) My TV does not have somewhere for me to plug in HD, apart from a HDMI port, which I can't use because
B) My XBox 360 doesn't have a HDMI port.
So on the back of your TV you don't have a red, green and blue plug in for component cables? If it does you can buy the cables new for $40 but probably used for a lot less. Component cables are capable of HD gaming.

I mean..the TV I'll be playing on is a Big Screen TV...(Not Flat-screen, though)..and it has an HD hook up in the back..though no HDMI support. O-o...I think it was made in that interrim period where we had HD, but not HDMI.

I don't even know if Microsoft Sells the cables to support that kind of thing, or if they just sell HDMI cables..o-o

That's what I meant, thanks. I don't have the green and blue, only the standard Red, Yellow, and White, which I use for my XBox.

Wait, they sell Component Cables for Xbox?..What about the Slim? o-o...Then again, if it uses the same size connector as the original, I could just use my original! o-o

My SD TV is just fine. I don't see a reason to go HD until my SD breaks. That probably won't happen for another 5-6 years. Even then I'll only go HD because I don't have a choice. Probably won't hook anything up with HD cables, though.

HDTVs ain't cheap ya know. Some of us are poor students that can't afford even a small flat panel screen.

But I have got around that in the past by using my PC's monitor as a small HD screen. Works wonderfully if you get the right cables.

My friend does...

Some games are nearly impossible to play on SD.

I upgraded to a mere 19 inch HDTV about 2 years ago. Serves me well. Don't have room for anything bigger, really.

I Still play on a Stand definition TV. (Its a Magnavox, which, I'm not even sure if they still make those.)
I can't afford an HD TV at the moment.
As I need to spend money on a new xbox instead.

Anyone that finds themselves needing HDTV has bigger problems than slightly-less-clear picture.

Went from a 20inch SD to a 19 inch wide-screen HD. Mainly because I was sick of not being able to read the fucking text on a bunch of my 360 games.

Nope, my TV is pretty small. Thinking of upgrading though, trying to read text on dead rising is annoying.
