People do not see Gypsy as a race, but as the way of life they live. If you see a person who has gypsy parents, but has a job and a home, you would not call that person a gypsy.

This has nothing to do with biological properties. Calling it racism is itself racism.

I'm sure there are nice Gypsies out there but this particular band turns up every couple years and they are not nice. They usually just smash windows and steal stuff but once there was a knifing when they were around but it was never pinned on them.

They're pretty bad in England too, as I've never been to Ireland I can't say for sure, better or worse, but definitely bad enough. Maybe they have floating caravans and swim across.

To the OP, make sure your home security is up to scratch. Then call the council to find out if their occupancy is legal. Even if it's not register a complaint, enough complaints and the council will remove them.

Do no go out in the field until they are gone and once they are tread carefully, they like to leave surprises.
