I can't afford it. Plane tickets from Mississippi are fucking ridiculous, Amtrak's rail system doesn't have a straight shot from Jackson to Durham so I would have to jump on and off three train to make it there. I can't drive and I'm not gonna get either of my parents to take their time to drive me to North Carolina.

Because I live in Norway, and I'm fairly broke. So if anyone pays my fare and/or invents a teleporter, I'll be there...
I live on the opposite side of this giant country. I could afford it I suppose, but paying hundreds and hundreds to attend an Expo by myself doesn't seem worth the money. If it was here in my home state, I'd probably attend at least one day, even if I'd have to go alone.
Firstly, I hate expos.
Second, I have no desire to meet any of the content creators or other members of the Escapist. I just come here for videos when I'm out of TV shows to watch.

Oh well, maybe next year I'll be more on-the-ball when it comes to the cons that I can conceivably drive to. The Escapist Expo would be more than triple the driving distance as PAX Prime.

I only value one or two members of the entire escapist and I can't say I care for more than a handful of members who're probably not going.

I've already travelled a bit this year. I've flown to Vancouver Island to visit family for a week, and I spent four days in Montreal for the Kinetik music festival. There is another music festival in Montreal this August that I'm not willing to miss. Seeing Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Gojira and Dethklock beats the Escapist Expo.
IT's either Eexpo or NY Comiccon in october, of the two, Comiccon is the one I'd rather go to. Maybe next year, escapist
