The PS3 is wasted power, it technically is a better console than the xbox and has a lot of potential, but it's like if you're the world's strongest man but you're in a world with very, very few heavy things. It's not the PS3 I dislike per se, just what they're doing with it, they're wasting all that power with a lackluster range of titles (God of war, Uncharted 2 and Heavy rain excepted). Also, it's not about power, its about the quality and enjoyability of the games: Left 4 dead is a classic, a brilliant game, yet is pretty low tech and wouldn't work on the PSN because of the god awful network.CTU_Loscombe said:

Okay, I'll admit, I know nothing of PSN+ because I never bother with my PS3 any more. What do you get for free, I can't be that good can it? Don't even get me started on the PSN store, the three years I used my PS3 for was marked by a total lack of any decent games on it (aside from old PS1 games) and cannot possibly compete with some of the games on XBLA.CTU_Loscombe said:
I've personally had far more fun on my Xbox than my PS3, which spent most of its time, even before the xbox, turned off and waiting for a good game to be released. I know you don't want a ton of game recommendations, but 3D Dot Heroes is a really fun exclusive title for the PS3. The game got great scores and it said "people who bought Valkyria Chronicles also bought 3D Dot Heroes."

Personally, i wouldn't put a single one ahead of Braid, although I do love locoroco and ratchet and clank. The last guy is also pretty inventive, but just not quite as good.CTU_Loscombe said:

That's WAY too much. People think there's a difference between the quality of signals between Monster cable and normal cables, HDMI is digital it's very hard to get a crappy signal from it. Just make sure the cable is rated to what you want 720p+ and you're golden. I got my cable for like 12 and I hear it could have been less.Alpha1089 said:

Almost any of those cables should work fine, anyone who claims they can tell the difference between a $20 cable and a $100 cable... is either lying or is a Moster Cable salesman.
