Wow. That's impressive. I only got 11 hours on that one.

OT:

Meh ... I've played worse in terms of being smut. Personally, I think 'feeling shame' for liking a game is stupid. Own it and tell the haters where to go and how to get there ^^

Eh. I used to play FF14 with a bunch of people who had a poor concept of time management and didn't care if they were wasting a bunch of peoples time by holding up raid night by an hour, then taking frequent 20 minute unexplained breaks. So I'd run Hunniepop in the background and pop it up while we waited (The bejeweled gameplay is actually quite a useful time burner). So background idling probably makes up at least some of that time.

I certainly haven't spent 84 hours listening to voice actresses moan outrageously while I take sexy animated ladies back to my house to have my way with them and steal their panties. No sir.

EDIT: And I definitely haven't been taking life advice from the game either.

Dude, I bought HuniePop a few months ago on Humble, and that is Bejeweled game about sexing women. I have completed it 3 times, and even though I have a Steam key, I refuse to activate it.

I love that the Senran Kagura virus is spreading. I really do.

As a fan of the game, it's your basic beat-em'-up, focusing a lot of visuals and spectacle. Pretty Dynasty Warrior-esque in that you're beating up tons of dumb enemies at a time (though there's no tower defense). Once get to the end game or play on hard mode though, the challenge becomes very real. I still haven't 100% Burst, honestly, because it's damn near impossible. Also, despite the premise, the story is pretty tits (pun intended), the themes can be surprisingly deep and most of the characters are pretty lovable in their own way.

My only real problem with it is that it kinda lacks replay value for those of us that aren't that into playing dress-up, which is the major (and practically only) focus of the collectables. There's also no real reason to 100% anything unless you just like doing it for the sake of it.

Other than that though, worth the buy. Have fun, man. And if you have a PS4 or have gone crazy and purchased a Vita, I highly recommend the other iterations "Shinovi Versus" and "Estival Versus". They're the same thing, but in full-on 3D instead of 2.5D. They go deeper into the story and character motivations that were established in their N3DS counterparts.

As for the shame? Meh! Meh, I say! Who needs shame when there are sexy ninja beat-em-ups to play?

No, of course not >.> For we are of a higher moral fiber then to do such a thing >.> *Totally didn't just finish binging on HIghschool DxD recently, and is hopeful a Season 4 will be a thing*

DPS ques in the Duty Finder would run the clock up a lot to. I know this from personal experience leveling a Dragoon.

Ashamed? Of what? It's not like you nabbed yourself a copy of Rapelay or something.

Unless...you did. In which case...

Oh, is that the vampire hunting thing? That's not worthy of shame.

I mean seriously, shame? Let me tell you something.

I bought this twice. And the only reason that shames me is because I didn't install it immediately the first time and forgot I already owned it, and it's probably not worth $40.

Only if you're using the uncensored patch, like any red-blooded gynosexual (wo)man.

Probably a good thing for me the Friends list doesn't specify mods.

The bad part is though I went in there for a different game; Pokemon X, to replace the copy of Pokemon Y I traded in like a dumbass when I got my New 3DS because I forgot there was a Pokemon Bank now and I could've saved all my Kalos Pokemon and my Shiny Froakie and Gardevoir AHHHHHHH!.

So I kind of got distracted by the boobs.
Oooh. At least it wasn't like you were distracted while driving a car/riding a bike. Gotta be careful there, no matter what gender or orientation you are.

Boobs, distracting people since *looses train of thought while staring at scantily clad lady in an online ad*.

Part of me wishes Huniepop reported user data back to the developers. I have a sneaking suspicion the installation rate of the uncensored patch is something around 95%, with a 4 point range of error.

I saw in on the shelf yesterday at Best Buy while looking for Amiibos and I had to have it. I know its corny, but something about it was just "BUY ME!".

Are they generally good games overall? I've heard they're very Dynasty Warrior-y, except much harder.
If it makes you feel better I bought Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball because I saw it and had to have it as a conversation piece.

At least they're handheld and not on home consoles. The first time I played God of War 3, I had to skip the button prompted sex scene because it was in a living room and my sister was looking at me funny.

Explain for us mere plebs...why should one be ashamed of buying this?
Well, from what I can gather the game is full of giant, floppy, physics defying anime tits. So my guess is the shame comes from not wanting to be called out by SJWs, feminists that don't think men (Or Lesbians such as myself) are allowed any form of sexual fantasy because that immediately equals objectification regardless of what the actual person playing the game is like, or perhaps he's just someone who fears he'll be categorized as one of those weeaboos what have naked anime figurines with rubber bouncy breasts and dakimakuras of 14 year old girls lying around.

The truth is of course that if the original poster is someone with a healthy sexual viewpoint who just wants some escapism and is otherwise a fully respectable member of society, then there's no reason to be ashamed of buying a slightly porny game.

I'm not sure how you could be ashamed of this game.

Do you actively only play this game in front of complete strangers that have no knowledge or context of the game and encourage them to play it themselves?

'Cus quite frankly, you should enjoy whatever you buy, and if not, you could always return it.

Clothes are the health mechanic - the less health you have, the less your character is wearing.
I'm trying to decide if this is better or worse than the usual mechanic where the highest armour ratings go to things like thongs.
I have no idea. Are the clothes being torn or are they just flying off whenever the character gets hit?

I don't have an issue either way but the latter produces a pretty funny mental image.

I'm planning on buying a PS Vita for like three games. Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus is one of them. I hear they're fantastic games that just have heavy fan-service. I also learned a new one would be coming to PS4 this winter and I'm currently flipping my shit about it. It's a Dynasty Warriors style game with an entire cast of hot anime girls, I'm bearing no shame whatsoever.

Well, to be honest I have an incredibly low amount of shame in the first place. It's just that games which put the TnA so far forward, whether it's the point as in Senran Kagura or just something the developer wanted a la Metal Gear, it makes me uncomfortable because it's the type of thing I'd find hard to explain if someone just happened to stumble upon me during one of those particular sequences.
Fair enough. I'm not sure I ever particularly had that kind of shame. I mean, I just referenced in another thread that I watched Highlander with my family when I was 7. Most of my friends play video games, and a lot of their spouses/SOs play video games, so this is all sort of normalised. There was one moment that was kind of awkward for a friend of mine when his wife walked in on a certain God of War moment, but examples like this are so few and far between that I can single out incidents like that.

Then again, I also know enough about my friends' sex lives and proclivities that if I were normal, I would probably have died from head desking by now. Thankfully, I'm Abby Normal.

It's like, I'm not actually playing softcore porn here (in most cases), but you could be forgiven for thinking that's what Mass Effect 2 is if you only ever walk in while Miranda or Jack are on screen.
Which is more or less why I said I've come to put up with this as "price of admission." Though it was funny seeing the first ME raked over the coals for something you could watch on cable. I'm not saying it was great that it was there, mind. Just that the disparity was funny.

And now I have an image of Strip D&D. I'm not sure what's worse: the mental image or the fact that I've never thought of it before.
