I got a rhinoplasty [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhinoplasty] a few years back. It was quite awful and I'm not sure if I did much good.

There was so much blood.
might i ask why? or too personal.
Whoops, I got it wrong I got a septoplasty [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Septoplasty] instead. My bad.

I got it so I could breathe better through my nose. Problem being that I'm hilariously allergic to pretty much everything so that opening my nostrils up more didn't really help all that much.

Awesome!

Well, no, I bet it hurt but still.. Great story.
I earned the epic nickname "One Tank" so it's all good!
Haha! Class. With that nickname the surgery was worth it I bet.

Damn! That sucks, I'm sorry. But where you wrote "so I could breathe better through my nose" I first read "so I could breathe underwater with my nose" and then I thought that was extremely cool. But if you went through that and still are restricted to air, that sucks.

P.S I actually narrowly avoided that surgery myself. Thank god for that.

That would be totally awesome! I would go through hundreds of those surgeries to be able to breathe underwater! The first thing I'd do is fake drowning at all the swimming pools and beaches where hot guys work as lifeguards. Try and get myself a little action [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/KissOfLife].

Wow that's pathetic.

I had my left foot cut open.... so the doctors could pick out the bones one by one, remove the toes and stitch it back up again so I'm left with half a foot.

Least I don't have to clip my toe nails on that foot anymore or worry about dropping something heavy on it.

Ahahahahaha xD +10 points for hilariously awesome. I think I would just grab like a water proof pistol for defense and then swim across the pacific.

Had a testicle removed.

I win this thread.
Dude... I salute you

OT: I have never been under the knife, I had a piece of metal shoved in my leg so I could walk though after I got a chunk of my leg ripped out

Had quite a few op's to set bones I have broken over the years and many many stitches from when I used to work as a doorman for over 10 years.

My elbow shattered due to unfortunate landing. However, they were able to repair it without having to add any metal to it.

I was born with a ton of problems. At birth, I had a massive throat infection, a Hernia, and a few other things of which I do not remember. Later on, two years later, I had to remove my tonsils.

I've had about 30 stitches total (never more than like 3 at a time) and apparently broke the strongest bone in my body, the thigh bone, in 3 places when I was little on a tonka truck =D It took 3 days and a lot of grief/coffee on my parents side to get me to lie still enough for the cast.

I have had 13 permanent teeth removed. I still have a full set.
Great, now they're splicing people with shark genes. ...Wait, that's actually really cool.

All I've had is tonsils removed.

Nothing for me. Well, the tonsils, yeah, but that happened so long ago that I don't really remember. Mid 90s, I assume, when I was still a kid.

Aside from that minor "surgery" that I can't remember, nothing.

I've had major surgery 4 times on various parts of my digestive tract. Also had 2 skin grafts on my arm and chest. And plenty of minor surgery, tube up the ol' ass and all that. Yeah turns out I have some really annoying genetic thing.
