I had my Gallblader removed because of my Pancreatitus. It sucked. Though I did get some awesome meds a few days afterward.

Also I think Doctors should tell you if they're going to put a Catheder(?) in you doing surgery. I tried taking a wiz after words and I cried, it hurt so damn bad.

Let's see I'm only gonna list the past three years.

2 Major concussions
what amounted to lash marks on my back
broken arm
two broken fingers
broken noise
cracked tooth that had to be drilled and replaced
and assorted minor injuries that required stitches, one of which was just under my right eyeball

I got cut open when I needed some work done on my spine. I kinda shattered one vertebrae, so they had to rebuild it. It was L2 [http://www.bioenergyresearch.com/images/vertebre.JPG], which was lucky. The farther down the injury is, the less problems you get. So since that was the one that where injured, I can still walk and stuff. Though my left leg was paralyzed for a week or two.

So about 30 stitches there. They had to cut me open quite fast again though, since these [http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v312/uidin/DSC00427.jpg] screws [http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v312/uidin/DSC00426.jpg] wasn't fastened good enough. I also got cut open again over a year later, when I needed to remove those screws. I'm very skinny, so they annoyed me when I sat down and stuff. Could feel them grinding back there.
So yeah, all in all I have had about 90 stitches back there. Got a kick-ass scar [http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9583738/Various%20Img/DSC00298.JPG] though.

I had to be rushed to the hospital when my intestines perforated. They had to do emergency surgery. I had a third of my small intestine, part of my large intestine, and for kicks my gall bladder removed. It looked funny, as they had to staple me together, so it looked like I had a giant zipper keeping me together.

they wanted to, but the knife broke on my skin. later, the bullet popped out on its own accord, mumbled a faint apology, and shuffled home.

I got my wisdom teeth out. They put me under for it. That gas is freaky as HELL. Because when you sleep normally, you're semi-aware of the passage of time. But with the gas, it literally feels like no time has passed AT ALL, like you just blinked. So when I regained consciousness, I was like "FUCK! STOP! THE GAS DIDN'T WORK! I'M WAKING UP MID-SURGERY! OMFG!" and the nurse was like "Your surgery was three hours ago, hun."

i only had minor surgery on my toe where they removed the nail on either side of my toe (because i kept getting ingrown toenail) and then killed off the nail bed on either side by putting some sort of acid on it

When I was 9 I got a Greenstick fracture in my arm (My bone totally snapped, I think that's what you call a Greenstick?) so the doctors had to put wires in my arm.

Only problem was they messed up the surgery and one of the wires was pushing down on my nerve.

Suffice to say....it hurt quite a bit.

The last thing even remotely close to a surgery that I was involved in was when I was born. Other than that, I don't think I've had to go to the hospital for anything other than a flu shot, if that.

I broke my collar bone skateboarding when I was younger. I don't skate anymore.

I also had an appendicitis last April. That was a fun spring break... The appendix was actually slightly ruptured. I had it for a few days before I went to the hospital. I thought it was a stomach bug because my sister had it and we thought she gave it to me. So after we found out it wasn't my older brother had to drive me to the hospital. The pain in my lower right side was so severe I couldn't even bring up my right leg to put my sock on. I didn't sleep at all the first night I had it. Torture.

I've had several surgeries, but if you want a story:

Two years ago I get my wisdom teeth out. Either I'm an amazing healer or the doctor did an amazing job (probably the latter), but either way for some reason I have no pain whatsoever. Seriously, none. I almost went to work that day, I felt completely fine.

Even though I have no pain at all, I still receive the standard perscription of Percocet. My wife - being a nurse and sortof a Nazi when it comes to taking the full course of medication perscribed by a doctor - insists that to be safe, I take the pills as described.

What's that called when you take narcotics when you don't need them? Oh right, getting high.

I spent four straight days high as a kite on Oxy, and I think I developed a mild addiction as a result. I haven't used it since, but to this day whenever someone mentions the drug I get fond flashbacks and kinda wish I had some.

Well I've had quite a lot of surgery in my 16 years of life.
I was born 4 weeks early and immediately taken into surgery to clear one of my heart valves, though I'm a little sketchy on the details. Well this surgery went wrong somehow and damaged my heart so at age 3 I had what I had a ross procedure which ended up causing a staph infection in the bone marrow of my sternum, so I had to have my bones broken open and the infection scraped out. Umm..I may have had more open heart after that but I'm not sure, but I later had a defibrilator implanted in case my heart decides to stop working, and my most recent surgery was in Bangkok for experimental open heart surgery that attempts to regrow damaged muscle by taking the adult stem cells out of my own blood. Next week I'm going to Sydney to see a doctor about some valve replacement surgery and if I get the all clear I'll be having another go at open heart surgery. I think thats all of it, my chest has quite a few scars, I like to say I was in a shark attack.

Oh and I've had a few teeth pulled while under and an ingrown toenail removed with local anesthetic, but they're less interesting

I've had a tendon rebuild, removed some bone to create space in there, and removed some.. "odd" stuff which weren't supposted to be in there.
What, the doctor ended up with some parts left over? Sounds like some of my car repair efforts.

The only surgery I've ever had was to have a Mastermind pin taken out of my nose when I shoved it up there when I was 3. Not very exciting, I know.

I had a birth mark on my lower flank almost on my butt which decided it wanted to kill me. As such they decided to remove it.

It was quite large what they removed turned out to be benign.

The unfortunate thing is the dirty surgeon left me infected so I spent a while on strong antibiotics and pain killers afterwards.

I often would get ingrown toenails on the big toe on both feet so I had the roots on the sides of my toe removed. Haven't had an issue since and its been about 13 or so years. I also have GERD [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastroesophageal_reflux_disease] and had a Nissen [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissen_fundoplication] to fix the issue. Sadly 2 years later I developed the ability to puke again, now it sucks even more to do so than it used to.
