I read all the comics at least twice...

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT!

I've heard nothing but good things about it, but who would with such a great cast and such a great director.

I read there are of course some difference on film from the comic, but that's to be expected.

I JUST CAN'T WAIT THOUGH!

Well it's worth the wait. I read both the comics and loved the movie. It was awesome.

I saw it.
Iv only read a bit of the comics and they were pretty good.

It was a good movie, but i don't think it was as amazing as people say.
And i haven't read a lot of the Comics so i cant comment on any differences though.

It's a great movie. I wasn't aware you even could pre-order movies! Silly of my to think otherwise, I guess, but I should do so now!

There's a Scott Pilgrim game over XBL, too, thats pretty win. Its similar to Castle Crashers, and you play it locally with friends. I recommend it :)

But yeah, sweet movie. I normally don't like the work that stars Cena, but I thought he worked well in Pilgrim.

It's alright. The movie's been overhyped to hell by those who have actually seen it. I guess they wanted to compensate for the fact that this movie was a huge flop.

It takes a while to get started (20-30 minutes ish?), but once it gets into the action and starts being funny, it gets good. It is certainly not perfect. The romance element sucks; I didn't buy the claims that Scott was a "lady's man" when he is so clearly awkward around girls, and I sure as hell didn't buy the attraction to Ramona Flowers, who has very little in the way of a character or personality.) Plus some of the humour fell flat, and for the most part, I found many of the comic book effects to be irritating.

Good thing the fights are funny and entertaining. The movie did a good job of taking harmless looking teenagers young adults and making them into martial arts masters.

I personally found the movie to be a major letdown (though i never read the books). I just found nothing to really connect with in the film and all the action seems very weak as a result.

....Whatever...

Discussion value?
I want to hear other peoples' opinion on the movie.
Seems like everyone else got that.
That's because everyone else actually saw it.
Oh, yes, the OP has some nerve to make a thread about a movie you haven't seen. What a scoundrel!

OT: I saw it at the cinema and loved it. You know, it has its flaws and somewhere deep down, a part of me tells me its actually not a very good movie, but the rest of me loves it anyway. I guess it just have a certain something that makes it good despite the flaws.

It was a great movie for people who have anything resembling ADD. It moves from scene to scene quickly, with all sorts of video game and pop-culture references, and some social commentary mixed in.

Bottom line is that it's unique and funny, and that's all that really matters at the end of the day. Oh, and Ramona is ridiculously hot.
Agree on everything. Especially the last point.

I think looks like a great film and from the clips i keep seeing is worth the time watching. However my seething hatred of Michael Cera is preventing me from doing so.

Even if you can get past the terrible acting (I don't think a single female cast member other than Knives even attempts to act) it's still not a fantastic film.
There's also a very thinly veiled irony to it all, yet somehow I don't think the indie kids that love Scott Pilgrim realise that it is essentially taking the piss out of them.

It's great. I saw it before I read the comics.

I enjoyed it, and the soundtrack beats any other movie this summer.
The game is pretty great too. Think: Double Dragon, Final Fight, and River City Ransom put in a blender an made into one cartridge with a Scott Pilgrim finish.
