Halo wars - you would have to be insane to buy and RTS on console. I DL the demo, and it sucked.

Its not like you have to be one or the other (console or PC). I run different games on both.

I'm also under the impression that the new 360s (gen 5 "Jaspers") do not suffer from any of the hardware problems of the earlier models. can anyone confirm this?

They are better and you can get epic maps like Helms Deep Survival mode

Assassin's Creed 2 is a good game to look into. I doubt you would want it for the PC since its DRM scheme is just completely stupid.

I'm waiting for them to crack it, then it's straight to the pirates bay and start fishing. I'm NOT supporting their idea.

Not just halo, tho that is a large part of it. My wife and I recently played gears of war (PC) through on co-op and would like to continue that. Im also a HUGE fan of the original fable.

As for games already out, I can't think of a good 360 game that isn't for pc.

If you're wondering about crackdown, It's basically prototype meets Robocop. Personally, I like it, and you can probably pick it up for dirt cheap. Probably worth it.

uh... actually... just RENT Brutal Legend. it's not that good of a "keep" game...

Oh yes it is. In my oh-so-humble opinion [sub]that is way better than yours [/sub] Brutal Legend was one of the most interesting, fun, and unique games I have ever played.

Go for the following: Brutal Legend
Halo 3
Fable 2
Gears of War 2
Dante's Inferno (If you like that sort of thing)
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Bioshock 2

That should keep you occupied for a while.

i have dante's inferno, still wondering about arkham asylum and own bioshock 2...
i don't bother listing halo 3, fable 2 or GOW 2 since i own a ps3, so i haven't played them.

One title to look out for, would be Alan Wake. Release date's a few months off though, somewhere in May.

Dunno if you remember that game.. The "Vista only" PC exclusive from Microsoft's Remedy? It metamorphosed into a 360 exclusive. /bitter.

not a fan of zombie games so dead rising is out, whats Crackdown? also anything with strong co-op would be ace. my wife and I love playing games together.

crackdown is a super agent grand theft kind of game, im almost positive you can do co op, you level up for doing basically anything, its pretty fun, especially with a partner, so cheers to that

HIGHLY recommend gears 2 for co op, play it over and over and over

did you ever get lost odyssey? i have no clue if it is a pc game, but i have it for 360 and it is an amazing rpg i think

dead space was pretty good also

army of two (1st one or "the 4oth day" is the sequel) isn't bad, especially for co op

ODST i would avoid...didn't like it that much besides the firefight mode, so if you can find a good used copy i recommend it

maybe find a copy of battlefront II ? an amazing star wars shooter, it was for the original xbox i believe, but an amazing game at that

tales of vesperia i have heard is good if you are into those games at all

I loved that game, but I can see why you didn't.

(If you have a PS3, try a Monster Hunter title. In the Western Hemisphere it has a small cult following, but in Japan the game sells out millions. And it's NOT a JRPG!)
