So the Prince of Persia film sucks apparently

Something tells me that this review is uninformed and biased. Maybe the fact that he called it a "computer game". Sure it would be a common mistake if games started on the computer. hmmmm..... Heck right from the start it says that another video game movie was not what was wanted.

Also, go see the movie. No really. If you want to see if the movie is good or bad go WATCH IT. If you love Yahtzee reviewing games because its funny but don't really follow the review, whats stopping you from watching this movie? -_-

EDIT: Never liked Jake Glyndgigleghagaal much either. Always looks as though he is about to burst into tears, whatever movie he is in.

jake gyllenhaal isn't the best male actor around today, but he's a pretty solid actor. that said, i wasn't expecting too much in the way of story, plot or character development in a movie based on a video game. it's a popcorn movie ... kinda like avatar.

on a side note: his sister maggie is a really talented actress ... she's also easy on the eyes.

When I first saw the trailer I didnt know how to feel, prince of persia is a really good game with an awesome premise, but even then like Kraloth said "hollywood fucks up all the videogame movies" and not only that im not really surprised that the story turns up to by humongus shet I mean none of the main characters are ACTUALLY PERSIAN. That just makes the movie go a bit out of sense for me. Im still gonna see it, perhaps it wont suck THAT much (like a halo movie would probably do...)

I guess we can hope it is a good popcorn flick. Though the review rates it a generic out of 10.

I never watch new movies anymore, except for comedies or if my family wants me to watch with them. So I haven't seen this movie yet, but, I knew it'd suck anyway as soon as I heard about it. Hardly listen to reviewer's opinions, just watch them to laugh.

when it comes to movies, i dont have high standards at all usually, and i dont mind the actor one bit (forgot his name) so im sure ill enjoy it for what it is

im sure its a decent popcorn flick, which is all i expect out of movies like this. if your looking for a good story and character driven film...well...your S.O.L. i'd say, fanboy rage away i suppose, since thats mostly the cool rebellious thing to do after every video game movie ever made
