Gonna browse what's on sale today, possibly get something else. I'm thinking Section 8 Prejudice looks fun. But yea, I got-

Serious Sam HD Gold
Splinter Cell Conviction
Alpha Protocol
id Super Pack
Overlord 2

And that's about it. Doesn't look like much, but that id Super Pack had quite a few games in it. Still glad I managed to restrain myself a bit this time....then again, I just know I'm gonna get something else.

I wasn't going to get anything but I have been really enjoying AC2 and so today when I saw ACB was only 14.99 I bought it and also Lara Croft GOL and a copy for my friend. We stopped playing wow together and I kind of miss him. :)

I bought a lot more games than I normally would, or should have. But this is the first time I've had money when a steam sale is on, and I wanted to make the most of it:

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Battlefield 2: Bad Company + Vietnam DLC
Two Worlds 2
Arkham Asylum GOTY
Borderlands GOTY
Beat Hazard
Star Wars Battlefront 2
Splinter Cell Conviction Deluxe Pack
Sniper: Ghost Warrior
Steel Storm Burning Retribution
Killing Floor

I can't remember the exact figure I spent, but it was about £50 on about £180 worth of games, it's a bargin.

Terraria

I haven't played it yet, but after seeing the vid review here, I couldn't resist.

I'm still a little intimidated from starting, I have no minecraft experience and a you-can-build-anything style of gameplay holds me back in an overly long planning stage.
Don't worry because terraria has very little to do with building.

Seriously minecraft is a building simulator with a little fighting to entertain you.

Terraria is a fighting rpg where you can build stuff to distract you from the fighting. You can't really build anything amazing in terraria.

Serious Sam Gold Pack, Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY, Far Cry Complete, GTA IV Complete Bundle, Terraria, Magicka Complete Pack, FEAR Complete Pack, OddBoxx, Super Meat Boy, Civ V Cradle DLC: Bundle, Chime, Thief: Deadly Shadows, Amnesa: The Dark Descent, Civilization V, The Deus Ex Collection and Garry's Mod for myself.
A bought a friend Fallou 3: GOTY (he then got me STALKER: Call of Pripyat) and I also got the Overlord Collection for another friend. And I just bought the New Vegas DLC for myself.

Deus Ex
Battle Field Bad Company 2
Audiosurf
Amnesia
Hitman: Blood Money
Killing Floor
Just Cause 2

All for just under $34

Fuck I'm glad I switched to PC gaming. A few of those games would cost way more than that on their own. The main reason I got audiosurf was because it cost $1. Who could say no to that?

I got some stuff that had been on my wishlist for quite a while:

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Beat Hazard
GTA Pack (the old ones ^^)
King's Bounty Pack

Which is in total 10 titles.

I got the Fear Collection, Magika, and Torchlight. Magika and Torchlight were only 3 dollars so why pass them up. As well the Fear Collection having fear 1 and 2, as well as all the dlc for 10 buck was to good to pass up.

I've decided to refrain from spending a ton of money this time. It has occured to me that when I go mad I usually end up with a huge pile of games I never play. I reckon it's cheaper to just buy the games that appeal to me when I actually want them, even if I pay full price.

Regular sales with a dozen or so items are okay. I usually only buy one if any and I do usually play them.

I'm considering Super Street Fighter IV : Arcade Edition but it's not discounted.

San Andreas for 2.50 (the only PS2 GTA I didn't own); it's pretty damn good despite what I thought it might be.

Got Torchlight for my dad (who is a Diablo 2 fan).

Unfortunately, I had most the games already and the only one I did actually want was Sanctum, which I missed on the day and was waiting for the Encore Day hoping it to be on special again.

Surprise surprise - It is ! Whoo!

Fortix 2, HoMM 5, and Plants vs Zombies. Not much but nothing really interested me. I already have most of the big name titles that were listed and none of those I didn't have caught my eye.

- Oblivion (tons of ccontent, will be playing it for a bit)

- Atom Zombie Smasher (great little distraction, surprisingly deep)

Really kicking myself for not picking up SpaceChem when it was for sale. Neat game, but I have to be 100% focused while playing it or I can't accomplish anything.

Steam sales are always fun.

I got Beat Hazard Ultra and I've just bought Terraria and it's installing right now. All together I think I spent about £5 which for 2 games isn't too shabby.
