Hmm, someone in my town got swine flu recently :O a whole damn school got shut down for a week for it. If it can invade a little town not even on the map then it must be a pandemic.

I couldn't care less about this "pandemic." People have already explained that the poorer less developed countries are the ones that are in real danger from stuff like this. Oh sure, the sickness can cause sales of meat and frequency of travel to lower substantially but there isn't going to be much loss of life in the developed world directly from it. You don't even need to see a doctor if you're healthy and continue to eat enough to sustain yourself. It can manifest as a simple cold that you get over with ease. If you're very elderly or have a weak immune system you'd be in danger but otherwise there's nothing to worry about. Last time I checked people in the US and Canada weren't dying of diarrhea and malnutrition.

Oh good. My world domination plan is succeeding. I lure you all into a false sense of security and then...BOOM!! I release THE deadly strain of the virus. All will bow before me! MUH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Well, anyone with a basic grasp of vaccination theory can tell you that's bullpucky. If the only difference between the "false sense of security" strain and the "murder death kill rampage" strain, is symptom intensity, then they'll be similar enough so that your "false sense of security" strain acts as a vaccine. Edward Jenner's first vaccine worked the same way. If you're releasing the F.S.o.S.S., then the world should thank you as its fuzzing saviour.
Dude, I was being sarcastic. You didn't have to give me an educated retalitory answer. It was a joke.
So was I. I also keep track of my kill streak of humor

Swine Flu: 6 month mark - 144 dead.
"Vanilla" flu: 12 months - 500,000 dead worldwide.
Spanish Flu: 1918-1920 - 50-100 million dead worldwide, 500 million (1/3 of global population at time) infected. A real pandemic.
Swine Flu is Spanish Flu.

Damn, what a shame that our healthcare hasn't advanced and that we're still fighting a disasterous war.

Yup, we're doomed.

WAIT! I sneezed while I was typing this. I guess I'd better go die now.
I might be wrong, but I think our health care and sanitization techniques have improved since 1918. Just a thought.
And that Swine flu quite blatantly is Not spanish flu? =]
