Looks aren't everything. If she's unapproachable because you have nothing to talk about with her, then you're looking at the prospects of a pretty empty relationship.
If you have spent time with her and not asked her out, and she has not asked you out during your time together, then you are probably in her friend zone. Trust me, breaking out of the friend zone can be torture, even when it is (rarely) successful. Might be best just to ask her out flat, and if she gives you the 'I think of us as friends/you are not my type/I have a boyfriend' template rejections, tell her "Your loss " and find someone who has more interest in the things that you do.

I think you are taking it too far. I was thinking more of a lot of small compromises. Let's say you are living with a girl (obviously this isn't too related to OPs problem, but I think it should be said nonetheless) for a while and she wants you to get rid of all of them because they are an eye sore. NO! *smack* bad Narwhal! She's hot stuff, that is good. But she is a person, and if you want any hope of being in a relationship, then start off on the right foot and try and be her friend. Once you've had enough time around her as her friend, then you'll find out what she's all about, she'll find out about you, and so on. It doesn't only work if you like her, she has to be able to see why she would want to spend time with you, instead of another guy.narwhalman218 said:
