The fact that they are protesting in the streets shows that they are not intelligent enough to speak on for the whole country.
Wait...Wait... Wait, wait. Did you just say CREDIBLE and FOX NEWS in the same sentence, and it wasn't sarcastic? I am going to leave this thread before anything shitty happens. In fact, I am logging off the internet now...pro_family_lover said:It's CNN, the very definition of liberal media. Next time I suggest not believing anything they say. So basically, now there protesting at U.S. embassy in freaking AUSTRALIA...
So... I ask, what the hell is up with Australia hating us 'Mericans now?
Fox News? Daily Mail? You have got to be kidding me....pro_family_lover said:It's CNN, the very definition of liberal media. Next time I suggest not believing anything they say. About 25% of the Australian populace is Catholic, less than 1% follows an Aboriginal religion.not_you said:So what if I sound a little bit racist... But, seriously, they come out to live in Australia (predominantly catholic/aboriginal populace) then force their beliefs on the local community, then expect to have the same rights as everyone else....
How horrible that they would want equal rights...not_you said:So what if I sound a little bit racist... wow that sounds bad...
Not the same situation at all. The things americans get stick for are generally the beliefs of a large number of your people (as in close to or more than 50%) or the actions of your elected officials. You know, the people who were voted for by a majority of their constituents.Chunga the Great said:Now you know what it feels like to be an American on the InternetCommanderL said:so a bunch of people protest at an embassy and that makes all us aussies hate americans how ?
The problem is you get labeled as 'racist' for saying things like that, yet ask any fucking cop working in sydney and they will tell you the same thing: 90% of their problems stem from 1% of the fucking population.venom_steve said:Lets be clear. Not a single Australian was involved in this deplorable riot. It was the cancerous rot that has worked it's way into our country like a virus. They in no way represent the views of Australians and I'm sure most would agree with me that all involved should be shipped off the one of the third world middle eastern shit holes they seem to like so much.
Let's not forget the Cronulla beach riots. "Aussie pride" bogans cause their share of trouble as well. Not that they were fully to blame (like you said, there's a lot of shit caused by Muslim immigrants), and the retaliation attacks from the "lebs and wogs" were far more violent, but drunken riots attacking "lebs/wogs" in general isn't the way to do things.madster11 said:If it wasn't for the bikies the only people causing trouble in this country would be the lebs/muslims who haven't lived here for more than 1 generation.
I think you might find his point is you can't force your beliefs and rights down other people's throats while belittling other beliefs on one hand, then expect them to respect your beliefs on the other.not_you said:So what if I sound a little bit racist... Yeah. He was doing okay until he said "then expect to have the same rights as everyone else".thaluikhain said:About 25% of the Australian populace is Catholic, less than 1% follows an Aboriginal religion.not_you said:So what if I sound a little bit racist... And yes, you do sound rather racist.
You do realise that the right frequently bashes the BBC for being too liberal and "infested by leftists", to quote one daily newspaper?pro_family_lover said:It's CNN, the very definition of liberal media.
