Hummm, yes we got an awesome western game... for consoles only.

I'd love to have RDR on PC :/
Aaah! You took the words right from my fingertips! I totally agree man, as much as I am enjoying RDR on my 360, I'd absolutely love to play this game on my pc.

What about Sid Meiers Pirates and the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned (Which simply looks gorgeous so far).

What I want to see is more SPACE WESTERNS!

They're like normal westerns, but in space
And I want this! Going round as a raider, fighting for survival while shooting laser beams out of your space revolvers and travelling to different planets.

Well we got RDR which is a shining example of a cowboy game, but what other genres-if you will-do you want to see nextand what do you want from it?

Mass Effect is an awesome sci-fi epic that rivals Star Wars (Star Wars trumps it because, it's well Star Wars), but feel free to dispute that.

Personally, I would love an awesome pirate game. You could start as a swabby and eventually mutiny your captain yadayada. I'd love to have the ability to customise your ship (within reason), including a custom flag. The ability to raid British vessels along with other pirate ships and merchant ships would be an awesome addition, each helping in their own way when raided. The ability to pillage is direly needed along with epic sea battles which involves firing cannons, fighting invaders off your own ship and then boarding the enemy.
It'd be cool if someone did that and made it an RPG. You know a proper one where you get to customise your pirate and give it a name and choose the sex and main weapon or skill. That'd be all kinds of awesome ^_^

Maybe we should send a memo to Bioware to send us a Pirate RPG? Hehe.
I will also agree with this as not only would that be a fantastic game idea but it would be made by Bioware and so would be doubly awesome.

You know what would be interesting a well thought out time travel game where you can change the past to alter the future

I need a decent cyberpunk or steampunk sandbox game. Although, a nice sci-fi sandbox game(EvE doesn't count in my book) would be long overdue.

A good spy game. Think of any spy movie. You have a team, you infiltrate facilities or parties unnoticed. We've had spy games, but I can't think of one where the team aspect is central. I'd like to be able to in some way control or at least give out orders for each member of the team. Pre-mission the player could decide who should take care of specific objectives, what equipment should be used, and what approach should be taken (on some scale of pure stealth/no kills to being able to cause pure mayhem) Of course, this means actually having good AI, but I can hope.

I'd like to see a good game based on guerrilla warfare. Most games that claim to be about guerrilla warfare are just sandboxy "blow up everything" kind of games.

Yeah it would, whenever the word comes up in games it's usually just the look rather than the feel.

Arcanum was good though. Mixed technology and magic. Steam powered full plate armour was great.
Resonance of Fate claims to be Steampunk and in some ways it is.

Have people forgotten Sid Meier's Pirates?
I haven't! That game is so much fun. Sir Fancypants and his mighty crew rule the seven seas.

Side note: The new Red Dead game is hardly the first good western game.

Anyway, as for what I want? I want a Shadowrun game. Don't sell me that fps bullshit either. I'm talking like the old genesis game.

What gaming is crying out for is a decent WW2 game either a FPS or RTS. There's not been one for a couple of seconds and it's about time that changed. Maybe with a beach landing level and an on-the-rails shooting from the back of a truck bit with badly placed checkpoints. Yeah.

Three words,

Zombie Apocalypse Sandbox

No one has done one and if done correctly (scavenging for ammo, resources run out in areas) would be a ton of fun.
