So what ME3 DLC character are you kicking ass with?

I am currently enjoying playing as a Geth Engineer (Because the Geth are tied for my favorite species along with Turians and Quarians) because honestly fuck the Batarians and while the Krogan seems cool its just not my play style to be the one who takes hits.

So what about you guys?

They're like the redshirts of the Mass Effect universe.

I haven't played any of them yet, but I'm all for using the Krogan Vanguard.

The only problem with my Krogan Sentinel is the inability to get close enough to enemies quickly enough to headbutt them to death

All DLC's are in Spectre packs.

The melee is weird, sacrifice some shields to use it but you get continuous use instead of one giant hit and you can hit in a circle around you.

Aside from that, the Geth Turret is so OP'd and overload is still useful.

There is a hunter vision but I don't use it because its just like the Turian Soldier's Marksman if it could see enemies.

Aliens need to feel alien, sticking 4 eyes and altering a voice doesn't make them very interesting aliens in my book. Also their voices are too weird and don't fit their style.

Also, they all just seem ill, like physically sick. I ended up with a Batarian Sentinal first try but on my second try (Within the menus) I was able to get a geth thank god.

The only money you have to pay is for buying the actual game and the online pass if you didn't get it new.

I got the Batarian Sentinel on the first Spectre pack I bought tonight. I like his skills more than the Human Sentinel, and I kinda like the idea of melee blowback against enemies that smack you when you have Blade Armor active, especially if phantoms are involved. But his heavy melee is too slow, and I really wish he could dodge.

You have to buy the packs in order to get the new weapons/characters, either with in-game credits or real world money. The only way the boyfriend was able to get any of the new DLC (not counting the maps) was to buy the special Specter packs with real money.

None, because I haven't unlocked any. Currently rocking Salarian Infiltrator with a Widow. Can't wait to unlock one of the Geth or the Asari Justicar though.

First two trys I got DLC characters.

Its a matter of luck. You don't HAVE to buy them.

well to afford a specter pack with in game money you just gotta win like 4 games...its not the worst thing in world you can unlock stuff at a reasonable rate for free.

then again i somehow feel insulted i get the option to pay for unlocks.

Yeah ME3's pack system is partially broken for me, It ate about 180,000 credits for me thus far >.> But I've only managed to get the Geth SMG from the packs that did work.

The only DLC character I've managed to get from those random drops is the Asari Justicar adept.

I did get a M-99 Saber assault rifle in one pack, though. Dealin' some major damage with that weapon.
