You're all daft. If I was to take one thing out of my house I would take the FIRE out.

Problem solved.

If I could only take one thing out of the house, I'd take...the fire. Didn't see that one coming, eh?

LOGIC THINKER.
*points at first quote*

If only things were that easy, then we wouldn't need firemen, or insurance.

I'd like to take my PC, cameras + my DVD collection as those are easily worth thousands of pounds, but in that sort of situation you'd only get away with taking small easy to carry things. So I'd take my wallet, phone, keys, and my external hard drives which have all the family photos on and stuff, in fact while we're at it I'd take the family photo albums too since while the digital copies are good you can't beat the physical stuff, and yeah it'd be a big shame to lose all that stuff.

I would grab my portable HDD that has a backup of all important files - including family pictures. Because I'm not intelligent enought to back that stuff up to an external site.

My PS3, my 3DS, my cellphone, and my Dark Magic II yo-yo. Otherwise I'd look forward to the joy of having to re-download everything on my PS3 and looking for a new yo-yo.

I'd grab my instrument. I'd also really want to save a stuffed animal I've had since I was born, it would feel like letting it burn to 'death' otherwise. And my laptop, or maybe just my external harddrive with the backup of all my documents. And my first ever Harry Potter book, or the last one, or all of them...

in a rush situation very likely laptop. But giving it a long thought I might go with some certificates and diploma's that have more emotional value. My laptop is on it's inevitable decline into becoming a piece of junk and pretty much all my data is backed up places.
