I for one welcome our new Giant Ant overlords and request that I am taken on as their Human/Giant Ant negotiator/linguist.
i would offer them our most valuable resource: the diamond mines found on Mars.
also the first act of my empiric rule would be to put a shitload of fake diamonds on Mars.
then grab a couple of beers with the alien leader, maybe show him pictures of hugging and smiles and explain that humans are pretty cool. i might consider offering him my second harem...
oh yea, second act sets up 10 harems, one for me and one for peace offerings.
if it comes to blows, i press the big purple button. it does absolutely nothing, but i'll do it on camera for them to intimidate them. if they ask why its purple (this is my third act) its actually to distract them while someone else presses the big green button because green means go. as in go pikachu. or nukes. its nukes.
or maybe send everyone into underground bunkers and explode the cities to look like we killed ourselves years ago.

Hijack one of their ships and go on a joyride. BWOOOM BWOOM BWOOOOOOOOM. I trust my luck that somehow I will destroy all the other alien ships during my joyride, because I'm skilled like that.

Have Earth's fleet come in and have them prepared to fire if things went awry.

Unfortunately nuking aliens in orbit really wouldn't work because the only reason it is so effective on Earth is because of the atmosphere and shockwaves but in space you couldn't get that... however it would also cause alot more radiation. Unfortunately aliens have traveled through space so they should have radiation protection.Davatehi said:

I would try to negotiate with them to avoid conflict but if that didn't work then i would have to cause enough trouble for them to give up because it's not worth it!

Negotiate, provoke no hostile response and commit no hostile acts. If that doesn't work initiate Operation Cleansed Earth and reduce the planet to a burned out cinder
