I'd most likely ask myself "What the heck am i doing on a desert" since there is none anywhere near me nor my country... it means im either in US, Africa or Asia, why the hell im there? Why did i go to desert without anything? And how do i know they are thugs and not carpet vendors walking from dune to dune, trying to make a living?

If im in a middle of desert with nothing except my clothes i certainly can't have my wits because im already demented/insane/retarded/you name it and thus i may as well get sliced, not like it would matter for me.
