If you don't know what a social mask is - it is a attitude/persona you put on in social situations you find uncomfortable.
I pull the "Loner"

I don't talk, I act like I'm that quiet kid who just keeps to himself.

In real life, I AM "The Chandler"

I, and another guy (Not gonna point fingers) are normally the scapegoats for all the shit that happens when we're in our "group".
I tend to be a sarcastic bastard, and the other guy acts like a complete psychopath.

I don't really pay attention to my personality that much..

The stupid, slow one who puts their hand on the oven to see if it's hot and burns water.

But I'm usually very quiet around some people.

I'm quite a short tempered person, but in social situations, yeah, I'm the token funny guy. I've been told to become a comedian a few times, but I think my shows would descend into hate rants.

Depends entirely on who I'm talking to... Then again, I don;t have to be uncomfortable for that to happen. Hell, when I feel uncomfortable I either stay awkwardly until someone breaks the tension, leave, or just throw up another, more decisive mask to break the tension. I'm pretty much a godless machavalian with the slight exception that I do give a damn about my word.

Eh, well I think I act the same around people but maybe when I act one way around my friends I don't do it as much around other people.

[small] girls as an example [/small]

Instead of it being a mask, I figure how I act in certain situations is just a different part of me.

Though I try to act naturally most of the time, so I can't really call anything specific to mind.

I'm a sociopath who wants to kill you and actively tries.

In reality I'm a sociopath who values not being in jail more than screams of torment.

I don't show a lot of deep emotion around friends, even close friends. I don't like to throw my emotions or problems around like paint. People have their own problems to deal with.

I also act a bit more eccentric with some people, usually people I don't know that well or don't want to know.

EVERYONE wants to be Chandler. Your other choices would be the greasy idiot, the stuffed-up nerd, the insane oddball, the neurotic ex-fatty, or the spoiled mother's girl. Chandler's the funny sarcastic one.

OT: I don't have a social mask, being openly gay does that to you, you learn to drop any acts you put on.
