Facebook for me.

I really enjoy it, great for keeping in touch with distant friends and family without the awkwardness of forced IM conversations ("hi" .. "how r u" .. ".. how's.. stuff").

Also, the ability to hide what/whoever I damn want is damn awesome.

Facebook. I use it for keeping in touch with friends I rarely see anymore, so I get a pass. I never play stupid Facebook games or take the hundreds of retarded quizzes that crop up.

Also, Twitter is bloody pointless and prevents people from being articulate, and Myspace is the hangout of gangs, pedophiles, high school metal bands, vaporbrained fourteen-year-old girls, and people who think they're "gangsta" and don't use Facebook because it's "ghey". Fine by me, they can stay there.

None, they pose an incredible security risk if something is unintentionally displayed to the general public.

Facebook, to schedule events and to post a random, short rant every few weeks. This one is about the idiocy of having a shootout determine the winner of an Olympic hockey game...

Normally Facebook.

I check Myspace every once in a while.

I don't really see the point in Twitter, considering I have have two social newtowrking site that accomplish damn near the same thing.
I could just as easily post something to a Facebook wall, or a Myspace status update.

At least try to contribute to the topic.

I have Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter. I'm thinking of deleting them all, they seem to be nothing useful in a long run. I think I rather just stick to forums and save my personal stuff for in person or cell phone.

I'm not on any either... I never really understood the point of them. Why bother when I can just talk to my friends on ventrilo?

You can link most of the social networking sites in your profile page.
So rather then continue with a list thread can we try to say why we use particular ones, why we like them or why we refrain from using them.

Personally I have a Facebook and Twitter, but don't use either.
I only got Twitter to play Echo Bazaar and Facebook was once used to keep in touch with people that are outside driving distance.
I have no real use for them, if I want to tell people something I'll mention it when I talk to them next.

Facebook, just to keep in touch with friends, not to play shitty flash games or whatever the kids are raging about in farmville or mafia wars.

Man, people are really adamant about their inactivity on social networks. I tweet regularly, I facebook less so. Twitter can be a really interesting and fun way to pass the time.

I've never really understood this spurning of social networks.

Facebook. Mainly because at my age (22), after high school, after military service, you end up with a lot of friends who you're not going to be in touch with. Some hang around in very different circles, some might be on the other side of the country. Facebook allows me to keep atleast somekind of touch with them. I'd of course prefer it if they'd all just join our IRC channel, or even use MSN, but hey, can't always have it my way.

Our band's in myspace, but I don't think that counts.

Back when I was in high school, and saw all my friends every day, I would've never signed up for facebook.

I was never attracted to social networking, simply because I don't have any distant people I want to stay in touch with. I gladly forget about my high school 'friends', and the people I really want to stay in touch with I added on MSN.

Though I must say, I'm tempted to join Facebook because it's easy to share pictures with it.

Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Bebo, I'm on quite a few although I only user Twitter and Facebook these days. There's also others such as hi5 and tagged but I recently deactivated my account for those because barely anyone I know used them and I was sick of getting emails from them.
