Society of Justice 3: Crisis on the Earth

Tyson-Ethan turned around to head to the ship in order to see Brain's body move into kiss Leland's body. "Beep beep boop beep," came from Ethan's body. Someone take a picture. The built in camera automatically took a picture and a save to folder option appeared on the visor. The automatic option was a folder called Taryn and Tyson quickly saved it in that folder.

Tyson-Ethan than proceeded to head for the ship snickering when Brian-Alex made the comment about there not being any cameras. As Tyson got onto the ship two problems came to light. The first one was how was he going to fight in a body he's having trouble controlling. The second problem was that no one was back at the Promenade to prevent them from breaking into his room and getting into his stuff. Tyson was starting to get nervous for the first time in years. Tyson sat down hoping everyone would hurry up so he get back and make sure his room is still untouched.

Calmly making his way out of the house, Jason-Garrus walked past his body as he made his way onto the ship.

"Having fun with my body? Apparently I run faster than I thought." He admitted to his own body as he walked up the platform onto to the Merriwheather.

In Ethan-Jason's mind, Erebus chuckled to himself.

"Whoaaaa, that didn't sound right. I'm gonna have to tell Jason that once he gets back into his body." He said, conjuring an imaginary to-do list in the mindscape.

Alex looked at Brialex. "Ok to control water you need to have a clear mind, think about what you want the water to do and move your hands in the direction you want it to go. As for the light and dark powers... well yea." Alex said showing him some hand movements. "It will take some time to get use to but it's enough for now." she added.

Taryn stepped inside the ship and walked through the cargo bay toward the cockpit. The process of walking to the ship had gotten rid of most of her balance issues. She still narrowly avoided hitting her head on the second door. 'Strangely enough I'm starting to miss being short.' Taryn grumbled silently. She paused in front of the main consoles. Technically she was the co-pilot...Taryn looked toward the co-pilot seat. But her body...Taryn looked toward the pilot's seat.

"They are essentially the same." she muttered. It felt odd, on top of the other oddness, to be in the 'wrong' seat. Knowing that the Society wanted to get move quickly Taryn began the pre-flight diagnostics herself. She tapped her fingers against the console as she waited for the ship to start up and run its tests. Unfortunately this part could not be skipped.

Taryn turned the less-spin-enabled pilot chair around to do a quick headcount. No sign of Levi yet. Taryn sighed and focused back on the console and switches.

'What do you mean it did not sound right? It was two perfectly good sentences, so the structure was fine. The content seems fine too,' Ethan replied as he waved goodbye to the two children after being told to head inside, running up aboard the Merriweather and looking for a seat. He noticed that Levi was sitting and working on doing the diagnostics and, remembering that Taryn was seemingly in Levi's body, took a seat next to them in the other pilot's chair.

"Hello there uh...Taryn. I see you are working on getting us back to the Promenade. Uh do you need any help at all with this, I know enough that I can probably help out. If you need that is! Not saying you do, but incase you do...I'm here! Unless you don't want me here of course, then I'll go," Ethan babbled on, deciding to just stop talking after forgetting where he was going with his train of thought.

"Shit, a clear mind? Really?" Brialex said. "OK, I'll try to clear all the stuff I've got going on out of there, but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do that. Thanks for the hand signs. And I gotta admit, it's nice being actually cool for once. Reminds me of home."

"Okay I need a crash course in plant powers if whoever Katie is can spare the time." Lillian said as she walked out of the house.

Richard for his part was working on his focus to control Rowan's powers. For all his effort so far he had been able to do some very minor manipulation but not much else. Apparently psychic abilities were much harder to focus on than one might think.

Taryn turned as someone in Jason's body took the copilot's seat. She started to protest but then they started talking so she waited until they were finished with their...nervous rambling. It definitely wasn't Jason. It almost seemed like...'Oh...huh. That's interesting.'

"Hey. Requiem." Taryn replied slowly. "Actually," -'That's Levi's seat'- "I have things under control here. But thanks anyway." She started to make a 'get up' gesture but canceled it partway. There was something she was curious about, now.

"Do you like being able to speak in words?" she asked. Taryn glanced toward the console to check on the ship's status and then looked back at Requiem.

Making his way to the Merriweather behind the others, Levi stepped up the boarding ramp into the cargo bay. In Taryn's significantly smaller body, he found it was noticeably easier to squeeze between the others as he stepped through the cockpit. He saw Taryn sitting in the pilot's seat, but to his surprise saw Jason in the pilot's seat. Levi wasn't quite sure who exactly it was, but he (or she?) shouldn't be sitting there. "Uh...who is that in Jason's body? You're gonna have to move..." he said.

"Oh it's alright. I mean, I prefer the beeps but I just kinda like them. Plus if I put any language programs onto my system it always sounds like Microsoft Sam...and no one likes that," Ethan replied, looking over to see Taryn's body sit down behind him and who asked who he was. "Ah, uh Ethan here. Just gonna get up and get out of your seat here," he said, moving to the seat behind her own.

"And you can call me Ethan, Taryn...since that's my first name and all. 'Requiem' is just my codename...or alias. I guess either work truthfully. Uh since you don't need help I guess I'll just stay right here then," he added, patting his knees as he buckled himself in.

Erebus' metaphorical eyebrows lowered at Ethan's reply.

"Kid, you need to get your mind into the gutter. The whole world will be opened up to you in a completely different way." Erebus replied as he looked on, watching from the mindscape as he talked to Taryn.

"Way to take incentive. It's a very hesitant and nervous approach to the concept, of course, but hey, it's baby steps. Once you get past this stage, then maybe you could move on." He encouraged as he metaphorically looked over Requiem's shoulder.

Requiem? Able to talk? Interesting.

"Thanks" was Levi's brisk reply as he got into the copilot's seat. "Are we ready to go?" he said to Taryn as he pressed a few buttons at his console. He was having some difficulty hitting the buttons at the speed he preferred with his smaller fingers. Besides the chair's ability to spin, something Taryn obviously enjoyed, there was no functional difference between the pilot and copilot's seats; they were essentially equal. It was designed that way so in case one of the pilots were to be incapacitated, the ship could still fly.

After Requiem sat down in the passenger seat Taryn turned in her chair, rather than turning the chair itself, to reply to him.

"I can see why you'd prefer beeps." she said. "Microsoft Sam sounds weird." The name thing was interesting. Taryn nodded her acceptance of the change. "And alright. Ethan it is." she smiled briefly at Ethan-in-Jason's-body before turning to Levi.

"The pre-flight diagnostics are running and should be finished soon." she informed him as she secured her own seat harness. "So we're almost ready to go. Most of the 'crew' is accounted for [small]though we might still be missing someone[/small]. Oh and...I took your chair." Taryn finished with a quick grin.

'Why would I want my mind in the gutter? I don't think removing my brain and putting it there would be a good idea...oh wait now I get what you're talking about. Sorry, thoughts never go in that direction...even with me going onto rather interesting sites,' Ethan replied to Erebus, raising his thumbs in the mindscape at Erebus' last statement (also raising them in real life too).

"It does and uh...thanks for saying my name and stuff...it sounds, uh, nice when you say it. Like pretty, because you have a pretty voice. So it makes things pretty and... which is weird since you're in Levi's body...but also your voice in your own body is pretty and so yeah, just going to stop talking now," Ethan quickly said, speaking faster than he was thinking. He let them get to work on the getting the ship running after that, looking out the window to try and distract himself with. He saw someone running into a yard on the opposite side of Mordtoten's house, only to realize that the person wearing the large sun hat, pruning gloves, and apron was Mordtoten. He watched him as he tossed a basket over the neighbour's back yard gate before jumping over it himself.

Richard and Lillian took seats next to each other. With Lillian right next to Katie who was in Leland's body. She knew Leland could read thoughts so she simply thought out to her.

Hey, so how do I control your powers anyway? I'd like to know before we get back so that I might be useful when we have to save my son.

Richard's mind was blank as he focused all his attentions on trying to gain some small level of mastery over the powers, his...or rather Rowan's...head hurting but Richard was too focused to notice.

By this time someone had strapped Tommy into a seat, where he lay with his chin resting on his chest, looking down. Slowly but surely he began to regain consciousness, his eyes beginning to open, and two round objects came into focus. "wha..?" He muttered at an almost in audible volume as he began to investigate, using his curiously effeminate hands to prod the round objects. "What are the...?" He continued to mutter as he tried to unravel the mystery, "Huh, they feel kinda like water balloons, or maybe bags of sand, just like..." Then the realization hit him. "WHY THE FUCK DO I HAVE TITS?!" Lillian's voice yelled.

"Lillian stop mocking me! You have tits 'cause your a women," Tommy-Lillian replied to himself, not realizing the voice was his own, " I on the other hand am I man, as evidence by my... not having any junk." Tommy-Lillian said as he began to realize he was the only one talking, and put the pieces together.

"It's one of those days ain't it?" He asked exasperated as he relaxed in his chair.

"You Tommy, stop fondling my wife's chest!" Garrus-Tyrell yelled out in anger, punching Tommy-Steven across the face to let out his frustration, "That'll keep happening to your body until you stop that!"

"Woah jeez black brother, he's just confused. It must be hard waking up and suddenly no longer being a man, it kinda happened to me when I switched into Brian's body," Leland explained, giving Tommy-Lillian a quick wave.
"That doesn't matter! Just don't do it!" Garrus-Tyrell spat out, his frenzied state becoming worse.
"Hey I just realized that both my self and eldest brother have become black, while older-younger brother is now a Canadian!" Ethan-Jason said with a hearty laugh, Garrus-Tyrell not looking amused and Leland-Brian chuckling.

"Hey look who's up and around." Alex-Eric smiled at Tommian. "Oh and I'm Alex by the way, Brian is in my body and well Eric is Richard." Alex laughed some looking over at him. "Oh yea and someone is attacking the Promenade." she added.

"Damn ... hmmm since I'm wearing the suit I can hack into it." Eric said thinking out loud and get an evil grin. "hehehe yes." eric said.

"Hey, now that you mention it, now i'm a short, scruffy, half-sasquatch! Things couldn't possibly go wrong now! Well...other than bringing the ship down with these newfound powers that I inhabit." Jason-Garrus joined in with Lelian, Garrell, and Tommian, chuckling at the bickering going on and at Garrell's even shorter temper.

"Actually kid, Jason's like, half-Dominican. You wouldn't notice it though since Jason's mom is just as dark as his father. Just ask him to say something in Spanish, and he'll easily answer you. So that makes you and your 'family' even more diverse!" Erebus informed Ethan-Jason.

 

[CounterAttack]

Katie pressed her fingers against one side of her head at Lillian's intrusion, quickly trying not to lose her concentration as she latched onto the new attention-seeker, doing her best to ignore the bickering coming from the others. Almost instantly she began sending messages to Lillian's mind:

"Whoa! You scared me for a moment there. Right, yes, my plant abilities. You wanna know how to use them. Um... I'm not sure how best to describe it. Try... try telling the plants to do something, I dunno exactly. Oh, before you do: be careful of the armour on my arms. The right arm has a branch full of razor leaves, and the left incorporates the Bimini, the healing plant."
