I never created my own face.
The only time I played a man-Shep was my first play of ME1 where I used box-art Shep.
Same with soldier, only on 1st play. I prefer either engineer or sentinel.
I used Garrus a lot and he's awesome, but he did like climbing on boxes out in the open and getting shot.
The first thing I did was let Grunt out. I used him a lot just because or his damn brute force. Pair him up with a decent biotic like Thane or Samara and you're made.
I fully upgrade the Normandy. It my baby
People only died on my 1st play cause I didn't understand the significance of loyalty. Every other play, everybody lives.
I'm half n half on the last one. I tend to swap paragon/renegade each time I play.

I got Two Shepards with faces I have personally edited. I cannot have any more versions of Shepard that look different than my original two.. It just doesn't feel right hearing the voices I have come to identify with my two Bad Ass Sheps coming out of a different looking Shepard.
Male: Andrew Shepard (Renagade)
Female: Abigail Shepard (Paragon)
Bother are Vanguards. (Guns + Biotics rule. Shockwave/Charge FTW)

Most used Team Mate was Tali for Male Shepard. Cause she was his LI.
Garrus was most used for Female Shep. Only because Liara wasn't a party member.

I used to side with Cerberus... but then I decided to destroy the Base but tell Martin Sheen that he is on my side now.

As I said when the News Room brought up this topic I have one of the least typical Shepards. Female Infiltrator made up to look like Lara Croft, full paragon including the final choice, fully upgraded Normandy with all squad members collected and alive at the endgame and I didn't use Garrus except on his loyalty mission.

First party was Garrus/Grunt (carry over from Garrus/Wrex in ME1), second party was Jack/Zaeed
Always took Grunt out. Shot him once.
I generally lose Tali.
I sided with Cerberus with both of my playthroughs.
There's no need to start flinging insults. There's a time and place for any opinion, and yours had no input into the discussion. In case you hadn't noticed, this thread was discussing certain interesting data of Mass Effect. Your comment really had nothing to do with that.team star pug said:

i let grunt out and used him on a few missions, but really, he doesn't bring much to the group that you can't get from another squad member.
and when playing as a vanguard (win!) or sentinel you can bring almost anyone you want as you alone can handle most situations (esp. after the disabled collector level). about the only characters i never used (except when necessary) were jack and jacob. one was boring (jacob) and the other was just plain dumb.
